If I may please offer a suggestion for the curcumin is a pinch of finely ground black pepper which is needed to actually release the curcumin properties for maximum benefit. This should be mixed with the usual dosage you give to Yoshi.

@CarmellaAbel
@CarmellaAbel Жыл бұрын
Yes, I do! I personally stopped because Yoshi had so many intolerances to some of the things found in manufactured grain; it was really effecting his health and inflammation. I try not to feed grain if I don’t have to. I hope this helps!

As chlorella is for detox and it binds alot of stuff to prevent it from being absorbed by the body: does it make sense to give it at the same time as the supplements/food? Honest question!
@CarmellaAbel
@CarmellaAbel Жыл бұрын
That’s a great question! I am new to a lot of the homeopathic remedies and supplements, but I met with a homeopathic practitioner who recommended all these supplements to feed. At those point in Yoshi’s health, he was a mini pony on a lush grass pasture but hadn’t gained any weight and and was still weak. Once we tested and found he had high mercury toxicity in his body, she recommended this supplement to bind the heavy metals and detox from there. I hope this answers the question! But I am by no means a pro at this stuff… just researching and seeing what works! I have noticed N improvement in the symptoms he was experiencing as a result of the heavy metals, so I do believe it is working!

My beloved horse has uveitis. Treated daily with Diclofenac Sodium eye ointment longterm after consult with New Bolton. She has worn fly mask daily. Is Yoshi treated with eye med to suppress the uveitis and prevent flares?
@CarmellaAbel
@CarmellaAbel Жыл бұрын
Yes! I have an eye ointment to use if his eyes start looking goopy or swollen, but he hasn’t had too much trouble after our first treatment. His eyes have been doing really well, I think largely in part to his diet change

I don't know how it is with horses, but with humans, you're not supposed to take an antibiotic and probiotic at the same time because it makes them less effective.. I think you're supposed to wait two hours after taking the antibiotic to take the probiotic but don't quote me on that lol.
