I love paddling this time of year, you have the whole river to yourself. You won't find me going for a dip though, the mere thought of it chills my bones! 🥶

This is so special to me. I used to go swimming and paddle boarding loads here when I was well, but then I developed ME, fibromyalgia and other health issues which causes me to be bedbound 90% of the time and using a wheelchair. I miss this river so much, and welled up when I saw parts that hold really special memories to me. I’m grieving for the life I used to have, and the life I thought I’d have, and seeing one of my favourite places on my screen is incredibly bittersweet. I’m so grateful that you’ve filmed this. A piece of me is missing, and will be missing while I am unable to be in the places that felt like home, this is the closest il get to the Dart for now, and I’m treasuring seeing it again. Even if it is just on my tv while I lie in bed❤️
