This year, I had the opportunity to run the 4th of July 2024 Watermelon 5k in Winter Park, FL and it sure did not disappoint! This race is one of Track Shack's annual races, with this being the 33rd running of this race. The course takes you through various neighborhoods in Winter Park, FL and culminates back where it starts in Downtown Winter Park. And, what's a Watermelon themed race without Watermelon? There was plenty of watermelon for participants and even a watermelon eating contest. All in, this was a fun race and a great way to start any 4th of July festivities!
