Season 5 is finally here, and I got the chance to get into the 10-man trial of Winter Rune Forge right away. The mechanics were interesting, and I believe they might serve as a challenge to some of the people. But worry not, I got your back with this short explanation video for everything I saw in my few runs.

My experience: good group = this is easy. But any group with any sort of disorganization feels impossible to complete it with.

This's exactly it. But I think that it would be nice to have some PvE content like this. Otherwise, everything becomes face roll without any difficulty which is boring.

Ah yes, because AGS couldn't have, say, devised a system where the doors to the final boss only closed once a ready check was initiated and passed by all members after everyone went inside? It just makes no sense from a design perspective. Also wow. When you got killed by the dog boss in the first fight that was insanely unfair. You didn't even get hit by its attack. Can these people still not design good hitboxes nearly three years after launch? (10:27) - Yeah you died because you didn't dodge, but that's because it made no sense to dodge an attack that clearly didn't look like it was going to physically connect with your character, which it didn't, but you got hit anyway. New World's first raid that actually at least somewhat resembles a traditional raid structure and they completely drop the ball by making it confusing, buggy, and obnoxious. Excellent work. At this point, whatever their major announcement in May is, it has to blow peoples' minds, because that's their last chance at salvaging this nonsense of a game.

Well, you are not wrong. All the above is correct. I really hope that in the future they will improve the performance of the game, as now they should be working already on their C++ or w/e it was.

@@RussKarlberg I did it not that much for the rewards, but for the feeling that mechanics and communication are the key. In most other mmo's all dungeons and raids are impossible without the proper mechanics, while New World is staying behind on this.

@@Lidiq- Sure, if I had a guild with voice chat that would be great. But with a pickup raid it's impossible.

My man, for real, first of all nice work but: C'mon 30min for some basic machanics, explaining the same thing multiple time, explaining the same thing again but this time with a drawing. C'mon dude... I feel like I've been there for a week already, gonna catch another vid. Yeah the drawing is nice, yeah the explanation is nice, but c'mon, 30min for single digit mechanics to know ?

I'm happy that you liked the video :) Regarding the length of it, you would be surprised, but many people don't understand the necessary mechanics quite fast. Therefore I wanted to explain them well.
