Bit of a late reply but I reckon they're a combination of drainage and sort of sand trap to stop any boards flying from the pyramid into the blind spot on the opposite side (riders view) of the more bike oriented spine.

Awesome post I must say. I agree with you and I believe that the secret to financial stability is having the right investment ideas to enable you earn more money, I don’t know who agrees with me but either way I recommend either real estate or crypto and stocks.
