Gear up early, ideally on flat ground
Harness on first, belt well above hips
Lay crampons out, buckles on outside
Aim for a neat low profile sack
Adjust helmet to fit properly
Rack gear for ease of access

How do you get your watch to attach on the outside of your sleeve? I cant get a watch strap that fits. ???

There are large Velcro straps sold like the ones worn by astronauts. I don’t know if any replica’s are sold though
