@@_everybodyK well it’s cold , questionable heating practices, dirty ..Life is short live it up but this isn’t exactly living to the fullest..his videos are awesome but just all the stuff he inhaled while heating his truck could cause cancer ..candles , propane all types of stuff that has carcinogenic fumes ..I’m an outdoorsman but definitely don’t recommend doing it this way

Idk what it is but I just found this channel, and I gotta say...there's something about videos like these that are uber entertaining. It rates highly up there with DIYs, Restoration vids, and those dudes who use aged tools to construct underground pools and tree houses. There's something about your channel though that's appealing and captivating, and I think it mostly has to do with your awesome and chill personality. It's funny, educational, and wholesome. It's taking a setting like camping, and the outdoors overall and turning it into something that isn't explored often enough right now: truck camping. People have heard of camping in the woods with a tent and a fire and such, or even RV camping....but like, truck camping....it's practically a dying breed. Glad to see someone in our generation group to be taking up on camping, especially in the great north of Minnesota. Anyways, glad I stumbled upon your channel, you earned yourself a sub! Keep on truckin', and keep on campin'! also, suddenly, I crave pizza.... damnit, Mav 😆 haha

Just converted an old harley trailer into a mini camper. Fits 2 quads, small kitchen and power. Just park vehicles under awning when you set up. Love the content and spirit. Not all who wander are lost, in fact most have found something irreplaceable.

@@4end i did another as a bugout camper. 1946 Ben Hur with propane kitchen, solar and 2 stroke gas generator and 5 man rooftop tent. Plenty of room for camping, and ready to roll if off grid becomes necessary. Smaller than Harley trailer, but much lighter and will conquer any trail my 4x4 will.

I did cold weather training in Minnesatoa during January when I was in the Marine Corps. Much respect to you Mav. It is good to others showing an interest in winter camping. Mav has fun but is always aware of his environment and respects that environment. Failure to do those things can make for a bad experience.

You all sure have a lot of excuses and justifications for him being fit and you not. He went to the gym, went on two walks, AND went snowmobiling to a fishing spot in a day and half. Clearly showed he ate 3 square meals and didn't intermittent fast. There's no secret or trick, just move your damn bodies more.

I have camped in a trailer just like that one. We had the same heater as u do too. The nose was the kitchen/storage area and then we had an air mattress towards the back and then used a milk crate as a night stand. It was alot of fun to be honest! That was before we got a camper...miss those days!

Mav love the videos man, never experienced snow or the cold like that in Minnesota or at all for that matter I’m Hawaiian so I only experienced white sand beaches, there’s also black sand beaches, and on two islands there’s snow on the mountain in the winter time but I’ve personally never went to see snow or did what you’ve done, respect from Hawaii

MAV PLEASE DO A CUSTOM CAMPER CONVERSION WITH YOUR TRAILER!! it would be perfect for you, if you design it properly with a Murphy bed/ceiling bed you can still haul your snowmobile around too. Lots of conversions on KZfaq, since you already have a man door your most expensive part would just be proper windows.

That’s livin Mav! I have slept in trailer multiple times for dirtbikes races. Has fold down bunks, a couple lights ,heater /ac, small tv all runs off a generator.

Hey Mav, been watching you freeze your but off camping in the truck box. Did you know you could heat the box using the coolant from your truck engine. Check out berth heaters from boats. You can tap into either your water pump or main radiator hose then run a hot water hose loop either under or through your cab to the heater and fan in the box. That way you could preheat your box as you drive to your destination! You could probably do the whole thing for under 500$. I installed these in our fire department pickups to keep our gear warm on way to calls. Good luck. Cheers from Massawippi QC Canada 🇨🇦👍
