This is one of my favorite boxes from this last month and I can't believe I've only made one thing from it yet! Time to make up for that. I got this custom pipe chain from the Box extras section at Sam's Bead Shop and I'm using it to make a pair of earrings and a necklace with the Winter Wanderer beads and findings.

I’m enjoying watching you create these little bits of heaven, which come together in a gorgeous, jewelry set. Such icy goodness. Your instructions are so crystal clear that even I can follow them. since I’m a strong visual learner, watching you put this together, makes it easier for me to learn the techniques. By the way, your jump rings have the cutest little voices, Mine have a little too much bass in them, especially when they’re being sassy. The earrings and necklace are stunning and I’m going to be looking through my SilverSilk to see if I can find some blue pipe chain. I’m also going to watch your video on making goddess bracelets. I haven’t learned the technique and I think it’s about time. I think on the necklace, for me, I’d like to straight up, bead it on a beading wire, or on the 22 gauge wire. Because I have issues with my hands, it might be the easier way. I also like the chunky look of beads. running back to back if that makes sense. Thank you for the tutorial and have a beautiful day.

It does totally make sense! And I'm glad I'm not the only one who has little voices for my jewelry bits! 😂

Beautiful set! Life got in the way too often last year, unfortunately. I have a lot of beads, bead boxes, and self created kits that need my attention. 😂 Have a great weekend. Regards to Ellen and Natalie!

Beautiful work as always Beki! My last order from Silver Silk is still in the package and I need to open it and make bracelets! I love the way you wire the ends to replace the caps but I usually go down about 1/4” with my wire and then wrap up toward my loop and then wrap on top of my first wraps again… I wish we could sit together and make something in person one day 💕your videos are great!

Love the pipe chain ends idea!!! I have an alternate technique for those ends when I use Softflex or memory wire. I use the 3rd bail size and do 5 wraps around. Then I move the wraps to space between smallest bail and do once around it. I cut and push that small one down into the wrapped spiral. It fits perfectly on the pipe chain ends…and I’m never short of the wire color that I need. Let know if you like the results once you’ve tried it!

Hi! I've only watched 2 of your videos, I like your ideas. I didn't have the tube chain, so after a lot of thought, I took some of my 20 gauge and braided it and hung the same dangles and focal piece on the braided wire loops with the jump rings! It turned out pretty good! I think out of the box when I have to!

So very pretty, I was hoping to get a good view of the stone on your bracelet or find a link to the video if you made one for that. I know how to do a Goddess bracelet but would just love to see a good photo of it. Edit, I did see that one in your 6 Goddess bracelet video preview box, I will look there. Thank you

Yes on their sight now confused with chain tube ( think I understand that one) then I saw mesh chain( does this need something pushed thru the middle like wire or do you use mesh chain as is
@BekitoBurrito
@BekitoBurrito 7 ай бұрын
The pipe chain is a rubber tube with fine gauge wire knitted around it, you can put beading wire or craft wire through it to help shape it, like I do in this video. The flat mesh isn't something you can put a wire through , although you CAN push the end of a wire through it and I've done that sometimes when I use the flat mesh to wrap around a bead. The flat mesh works great as a substitute in a chain. You can use fold over cord ends, the flat mesh crimps from the silversilk site, or the pewter Tierracast crimp ends to attach to the ends of the flat mesh.

Have you showen how to use the “flat chain”? A bit afraid to buy if not sure how to use. I was thinking g using jump rings to add beads with around and use as a necklace- is this strong enough
@BekitoBurrito
@BekitoBurrito 7 ай бұрын
The flat mesh is strong enough for that! I use it instead of chain in necklaces. You can check my SilverSilk playlist for more projects I've done with Pipe chain, capture chain, and flat mesh. One of my favorite things to do with flat mesh is use it as a base to do a little beadweaving on! kzfaq.info/sun/PLOMJ22r0mSBp19m_OP2rPGKpe1au1CrWz&si=HouZfPXJWib3NhdK
