With snow lying on the high ground in the Peak District, opportunity taken for a amazing high level wild camp in the snow.

I enjoyed your video as always. Unless it's for health reasons I don't understand why older people stop doing things. Sometimes society says we shouldn't do certain things or act in a certain way, which is sad. Carry on with your adventures!

My grandad was very fond of these places he knew very well in his youth and spent a lot of time until moving to Norfolk when he was around 50. He always talked fondly in conversation about them. He lived to 88 and went for a couple of walks with the dog every day up to his last year or so. Thanx for this video Pat be well bud:)

Great camp in the snow Patrick looked good to be out! The weather does change so quickly here in the UK there was snow here a week ago and 1 degrees now it’s 60-70 mph winds and 12 degrees! All the best.

Your words reach out and strike a chord with many of us and thanks for sharing this great yet simple adventure. At the age of 73, I recognise the wisdom of your logic and agree entirely. The world can be a wonderful place, if only we take take the trouble to find it. And you do it here in ‘spadefuls’

Brilliant Pat, what a fantastic adventure and great memories for you and us your viewers, I’m 60 and still do my wild camping, mainly in the Lakes. You’re very correct about the petrol cookers in winter conditions, I still use my Coleman peak which I’ve had for years. Keep em coming mate. Atb. Tony.

As a youth I used to spend my weekends hiking and camping under a tarp in this area. The best ever was when I woke up one morning surrounded by sheep laid around the tarp trying to keep out of the snow! Great days!
