What a nice skating! And I love the joy on his face and the fact that an older person was doing all he could and it was nice, especially the jump and the balance one. They are very hard to do, because jumps become difficult as we age we lose the collagen from our joints and between our bones and also we become more rigid on account of this and it becomes harder to balance ourselves.

This is really lovely. I admire the hard work and courage it takes not just to learn a routine but to perform it and be judged on it. But more than that, I’m happy that he seems so happy.

His performance demanded an immediate replay for me. So enjoyable. And he could teach 'olympians' a few things---footwork is mandatory, a spread eagle lasts more than half a second, combos are more than sloppy jumps.

Wow! Very smooth skating! I want to get back into ice skating lessons again myself! Right now there's only a small roller rink in my neighborhood and all the ice rinks are almost two hours drive one way. So I've been mostly roller skating though I did buy some good ice skates barely used at a thrift store a few years ago.
