In this 2000 point game the dreaded Necrons take on a speedy Craftworld Eldar list. This one is supper close and goes down to the wire.

actually, in most cases, you still get assassinate even if the opponent ressurects the character, no matter how they ressurect the character. Unless something specifically says otherwise.

Love your channel Winters. You can tell the love you put in with your terrian.Especially like watching the group play. Just watched an old one with Chewy, Say Hi Paul and the Claw. Miss those guys.

AMAZING Eldar paint, but also that Eldar ruin terrain is smokin. I'm not a big fan of yellow as a color, but the yellows in both armies makes it feel like these two have been enemies since their earliest days during the War in Heaven. Really great stuff.

Just a rules thing, a Warlock Skyrunner gives his Unit's weapons [Ignores Cover] he doesn't pick a unit to not get cover, Vypers take away the Benefit of Cover from one unit that they have hit during that Shooting Phase. The Phoenix Gem doesn't deny Assasination, but you can potentially score it twice from the same Character (kill them in the shooting phase, they get back up, then charge and kill them in the fight phase) A great game report guys, I really enjoyed it!

That paint job on the Scout Bikers is amazing; almost too effective 😄 18:33 From what I understand, the Fate Die has to be expended before the saves are rolled; so, not take-backsies. Normally, I root for Winters to win; but that Space Elf just looks so cool. Go, Pointy Ears!

So you can roll the dice one at a time, you don't have to roll them all at once. Hence why you can save one fate dice for the last save.

At around 1:00:00, the technomancer would have gotten feel no pain saves against the precision shots, as he was leading a unit at the time. Mind you, he still might have died, but he would have gotten the fnp saves

And the normal saves should have been made agaisnt the bodyguard units ++4, then the technos FnP. Precsion only does damage to the character after weapons successfully wounds the attached unit but no 4 ups were made so no change of result anyways :P

just a minor thing: spiders give vehicles a 6+fnp (and everything else a 4+fnp against psychic). since they are vehicles they also get that 6+ fnp.

Brilliant game and down to the wire is is always great. I can't find the rule, but I'm sure killing a character counts for assassinate even if he comes back. The terrain on this one was interesting, having that massive piece in the middle made for some interesting tactical choices.

I love seeing Eldar die, even beautifully painted ones like these! Winters rolls were insane this game but the last few turns of invuln saves from the Eldar kept them going and almost made up for it. You can take necron warriors in units of 10 still right? Feel like 2x10 and 1x20 is way better when you're tasking them with objective babysitting. Great bat rep as per usual Winters and another good guest. Finally, are we ever going to see my bois the Ad Mech ever again? It's been so long. I know they're gutter tier but you could match them up against another weaker army for a fun game. Seeing these two great armies with all their abilities and re-rolls makes me jealous.

Great game chaps! Winters, I would recommend Gauss Immortals, especially with Plasmancer! They will put some serious work in for the Canoptek court!👍

and led by an overlord, so you can do the strategm to give them devestating wounds for free once a turn. in such a case, the tesla carbines might work better, as every 5+ to hit will be 3 hits with the plasmancer. And odds are you'll get a few 6's on the wound rolls.

Few things i saw: Spyders only have 1d6 shots, you fired 4d6 with 2 spyders Assassintate still gives points, if the character stands back up.

Feels kind of stupid to me that the neutral control point can clearly go on a side of the map that favors one team over the other. Rather a big downside of a map with such a big showpiece thing in the center. Good for the Eldar player, but still.
