That's because the Leftist Media has a love affair with France. They also rip off everyone who goes to France with Excessively high prices of everything that is unjustifiable. The Media has assisted them greatly over the decades in doing this. So it is not just Africa they 'steal' from, but all that go to France as well. They are notoriously rude to all foreigners as well. This is simply France's modus operandi in seemingly everything that has anything to do with business or $$$.

The gold dinar was a gold currency that Gadaffi believed would free Africa from the shackles of the global economic system and bring about greater prosperity for all. He wanted to create independent African currency. Gaddafi's plan would indeed have changed the current status quo and shifted power to the countries with the most resources, and which continent is being exploited the most for resources? You guessed it, Africa. The goal of this new currency was to stop using the dollar for oil transactions. Nigeria, Egypt, Tunisia and Angola were all prepared to change their currencies. Under Gadaffi, Libyans had access to free water, nearly free gasoline, a free healthcare system and free education. The attack on Libya like the attack on Iraq is about power and control of resources, including not only oil but also gold. Nato went to Libya to loot 144 tons of gold. Gaddafi had advocated for Africa to use the abundant gold in Libya and South Africa to create an African currency based on a gold dinar for all foreign exchange..in other words, if countries wanted to buy resources from Africa they would have to do so in gold dinars not dollars. The dinar has a much higher value than the dollar, hence making Africa richer by default. This gold was accumulated and was intended to be used to establish a Pan African currency based on the Libyan gold dinar. This provided an alternative to the French franc for francophone African countries. France discovered this plan.

They are poor because they do not have a stable government that allow investments into such countries. No big company would invest into a country that has militant groups running around with weapons and replacing governments forcefully every few years to enrich themselves. And since none of the big international companieis would invest in such countries and these countries do not have any significant infrastructure or the technologies to build up an industry on their own all they can do is to dig up resources (because that is the easy job which does not require deep knowledge and high-tech) and sell these resources to foreign nations. If such countries would have stable political systems they also could attract investments and companies would establish factories and pump money into these countries. These countries have what the industrial countries need, they are just to stupid to provide the conditions for better business relations. That is why no investment will go further than "give us your resources, we will do the rest". And as a matter of fact, there are countries which did it better and established non-exploitive business relations with international companies because they created a foundation of a stable political system. You could also see it from a different perspective. IF they think the business relations are unfair they could simply stop them and instead of selling resources they could out of nowhere use the resources to build up their own industry. Ridiculous, yes I know. But that is the situation... these countries have no other options and never will have such because they over and over are cutting the branch they are sitting on. To expect different results is ridiculous. Oh and btw. if you think that India is not exploiting other nations you must be very naive.

Venezuela was and is socialist communist country , in country like that you dont need an enemy to colapse because socialist communism allways fails and falls apart on its own . Lets go back to european imperial colonists , they will get out of africa and russians will jump in , so basically africa will change its master and remain in slave position ! Even if they manage to beccome finaly free ,there will be a chaos and civil war because africans dont know how to run a country , manage its resources and prosper . Things will be the the same if not worse. Im telling that because southeastern europeans are the same as africans and are in same position as africans . These issues could have been dealt with legislatively by these countries. 1) You raise the taxes on the companies who operate the mines, or 2) take control of the natural resources and distribute the profit to the people through direct payments or social welfare programs. In either case there is no need to do away with a democratic government. It's a shame the democratic government is not given a chance to develop.

It doesn't matter at all how rich resources one country are, if they can't mine it themselves and rely on others, they're ought to be exploited.
