A lot of teachers don't live in the same town where they teach. That is normal. But her teacher sounds like she is one of those that she doesn't do anything wrong. So proud of Maggie. 🙂🙂❤

Mrs Coffee, if you put the lid on your tray turn it upside down tap the bottom then pour it back in you container. Your drills will come out a lot easier. I hope I'm saying this right and you understand what I'm trying to say. I love the way Maggie stood up for herself. I'm a diabetic and I used to do the same thing after I ate my supper I'll get so sleepy I would end up dozing in my recliner.

☺️ Congratulations on getting your car stereo back 🎵 I remember when I was younger my dad got a new car and it had a cassette tape player ww thought it was sooo cool 😂😂 Then when my older bro got his first car it had a 6 cd stacker 😎haha Now its all Bluetooth and apps. So proud of Maggie🥰 I always tell my kids to be nice and friendly to all kids, but if someone starts something then they can end it 🥊

😃 My husband gets light headed with needles too....he has two sleeves and tattoos on his legs. Doctors and nurses are always like “but you have all those tattoos” and just like you he says “it’s not the same” 😂

I was bullied in school when I was young. My father taught me to never start a fight but to finish one. I had to do that once when I was in kindergarten and the bully was an eight grader. The end result was that the bully went to the hospital with a cracked skull. I was called into the principal office and my parents came in. My father told the principal his philosophy and she was stunned. The bully stayed away from me after that. I was cheering Maggie on as you told her story.

I will be part of that Maggie Hype Squad!!! And I understand how it is. My son is 9 but he acts like 5 or 6. And good for her for standing up to bullies!!!! And I’m also scared of needles and have my arms covered in tattoos!! Lol 💜💜 love you and the family!!!

Aman!! My daughter has fought 2 different boys this yr! Both times boys kept harassing her. The one that happened on the playground she hit him first after she asked him to stop calling her a name multiple times. The boy then slapped her. Before she could do anything else 3 of her boy friends tackled and beat this boy up for slapping her. That night when I got off work that night she got a sonic blast. I've told both my kids from a very young age to always defend themselves and each other. Way to go Maggie.

You are thebest kind of parent as far as I can tell. I always told my sons you don't start a fight but you finish it. They were each in only one fight during their years in elementary school. Both worked at bouncers as a bar during college.

😄. Way to go Maggie. Keep standing up for yourself. Me and my husband have told our kids that if you get into a fight let the other person throw the first punch and then you can hit back. I want my kids to know how to protect themselves.

I just LOVE your wips! The stories are always so amazing! From the hilarious misunderstanding with maintenance and the tripod to Maggie being a BOSS and standing up for herself! Your family is amazing and hilarious and you're doing an amazing job raising your kids! I appreciate you being so real and sharing the good the bad and the ugly! Definitely makes me feel not so alone with some of the things that I do with my son (and some things he says lol) and some of the mistakes I make! I just love you guys! Honey I agree with you totally on that bully at school thing. My baby boy was small as heck when he started kindergarten plus he wore glasses. I told his brothers teach him how to fight cause I know how kids are. So one day the principal called and said your child said mama said if someone hit u to beat them up I said yes. We don't do that here he supposed to come and tell the teacher. Yea ok whatever. Good for Maggie. She has learned at a early age she doesn't need friends if they gonna be like window friend.

😁😁😁 Listened until the end! As a teacher your story about Orion’s teacher ticked me off. I started the year teaching remotely and am now teaching hybrid. If I have to get a hold of parents I send them an email, then if needed a follow up the next day and then call them on the third day if they still haven’t answered. In the modern day there is no reason to wait over a month to contact a parent about anything! I also live 45 minutes away from the school I work in and made the trip several times during our remote learning to pick things up at the school to drop them at student’s houses if they were unable to get to the school. P.S. I sent a package to your PO Box. It should be coming in the next few days! (It is a small red bubble package with snowmen on it 😊)

Hi mrs Coffee. ( Warning, long reaction 😅). Very good of Maggie for standing up for herself like that. I was very different as a child. Very withdrawn. Introverted, a bit slower than others. And different than the others. That was often noted. They don't bully me physically, but mentally. I was never allowed to come to parties because they didn't like me, and I was always chosen last with gym. And I was often laughed at. Even in my church I was bullied. I was raised in strict Reformed liberation. And they said: I don't want to join her in the group. Because I have very nasal speech. I ran away crying. That nasal speech is because of my 22q11. Unfortunately genetic. I can not help that. They didn't know that in my childhood. I was also not invited anywhere. Because it soon became known that I had no boyfriend and no relationship. While others had been dating for a long time and also got married. They said we can't be friends with you anymore because you don't have kids. Then you don't understand us. That hurt me a lot. Now you may understand why I am quite open-minded. I was bullied a lot myself. Even in the church. I don't think it should be. But children are children. They are very outspoken. And especially in the Netherlands !. It wasn't until I was 15 that they found out that I had 22q11. And that explained a lot why I was so slow and why I was so different from other kids. (if you don't know what 22q11 is, google it) Sorry for the long answer, but I just had to say it. Very good again that Maggie stood up for herself.

You should read about hypersomnia. The naps sound like that condition. I suffer from it. Probably not what it s but could be. Insomnia is even a symptom sometimes. I ordered my oopsie socket today. I wanted an oops and in wanted Leo and the stars aligned so I could get both. Thank you for sharing with us. 🙃
