I’ve had a couple of thoughts on how to make dark kits easier for you. I’m not sure if either will help, but I thought I’d mention them in case it would help. I know how monotonous some color schemes can be. My first thought was replacing the plastic covers with release papers or parchment and working on the canvas like you did with Button Eye. It would block a lot of the dark from your eye and allow you to take it one section at a time. The other thought I had was, if possible, arranging the drills from dark to light and work on the darkest colors in the section first to get them out of the way and finish up with the brighter, happier colors. Like I said, I’m not sure if the ideas would work for you, but they might. Good luck on completing the kit. I hope it doesn’t prove too irritating for you.

It’s a big no to unsweetened tea. That’s some funky tasting water. Soap in the mouth unless it was cussing at someone in public then a pop in the mouth and the soap when we got home. If you were acting real bad it was go lay across your bed and wait for me. The waiting was pure torture lol.

I cannot even imagine how burned out Mr Coffee must be! I worked 84 hours a week for several years I felt numb all the time. Thank God I was single and it didn't effect anybody but myself. I hope Mr Coffee actually gets a few days off soon. Love to the whole Fam

My weekend was good I finally got into the pool since last summer. My week I’m already done with it. Summer 2022 is going down the tube.

Swan lake is still available I just checked. It's beautiful I love dark colors but hate browns. On the other hand I haven't bought any DP's or assesories probably because I am broke until next month cuz I spent it all those things. All consuming best hobby ever regardless!

I always go through the drive through if at all possible. Then I don’t have to worry so much what I have on. LOL. And I always got the soap in the mouth whenever we swore. But it really ticked my mom off when me and my brother didn’t mind and just started blowing bubbles. LOL.

Fun fact: my daughter bought her first car about 3 weeks after getting her permit. Mind you, she has never driven before or taken driving lessons, but she did it, and got insurance for the car. 😂 She finally got her license last month, about a year after she bought her car.

Everybody in our house has covid I've had it twice late February and mid March. We are isolated for at least another 5 days. My husband claims the light hurts his eyes so no diamond painting for a couple of days. I would have sympathy but he's been saying for a couple of years that covid is a made up lie. But wait....now he has it and everybody needs to kiss his butt. Not me! Sigh I hope your week is awesome

My parents didn’t care if I cursed as long as it wasn’t in public. A lot of Eastern European parents aren’t strict about their children cursing as long as its not in public.

I work in ABA (treatment therapy for autism) and all she is doing is reinforcing his behavior by giving attention to it. He knows what he can get away with next time he does it! (And he will continue to do it)). The most you can do is punishment but if not is completely ignore the behavior because the most you give in by telling him “its ok johnny you just need to calm down, the less he will actually calm down and most likely will get worse to get what he wants

Thanks for the WIP and Chat x You made me laugh as when it comes to assembling things I like to take one thing at a time out of the box and tick it of the inventory sheet. Then re check ✔. Dean well he will empty everything out then try and work it out. I can not be in the same room as I sit there waving the info sheet at him saying it's a and b first but no. Cursing believe it or not the worse we heard as children was bloody hell. I have threatened to use soap in my nieces and nephews mouths before as I don't swear as a rule (only when pushed way to far) so I certainly don't expect it in front of me. I also do enjoy a canvas with alot of dark colours on even like dark oranges ect can stop me enjoying a canvas. Mr Coffee and his job is a hard one as you just never know when things can change and although it is spoiling his family time hopefully it won't be long term. When I was with my ex he worked nights and I worked every hour in-between. He would literally drop me of at work and go home to bed. He would then pic me up we would eat and bye 👋. When I cursed my mom would guive me pepper… My son has Autism, but that doesn’t mean I let him do whatever he wants. Like any other kid he has to learn limits. But he struggles to understand why the other kids can do and he can’t (social clues are a real struggle for Autism).

it drives me nuts how alot of people can never admit their children are Aholes, atleast sometimes. My daughter is an adult now, she had anger issues as a child. I knew what she would and would not do. If she needed special help I would never argue that she did not need special assistance at school. But sometimes kids are Aholes. I knew a time and a place as a kid, I swore at home but curbed it outside. Now I still swear like a truck driver, but still time and place.

On Sunday my brother & he’s wife came down to see me I haven’t seen my brother since Christmas they spent the rest of the day with me then they left to go home it’s was lovely to see both of them. I did’t get the soap in the mouth for swearing but my mom did take me somewhere & told me not to do that again

I was too afraid to swear when I was a little kid because I knew what I would get if I did. I would have had the same reaction to that kid on the playground also and the mother should have done something with that child. I don't know about working on a kit that I don't like because I just wouldn't do it and I wouldn't care how many people ask me about it lol. I hate working on dark color kits also they need to have lots of color to make me happy.

I think something is wrong with kfc everywhere that means! the one local to me gets overwhelmed when theyre busy it seems like, coz things will b missing from your order or wrong things will b handed to you n with kids if theyve ordered something n its missing or the wrong flavour etc theyre gona give the parent the trouble nobody else….
