I started self teaching myself to strip my pet wire fox terrier. So much better and easier to maintain. I started about 16 years ago looking for instructional videos or anything. This is by far the best most thorough explanation of each part of the dog. Thank you for doing this. It’s hard to find a groomer out there that will do this type of grooming in most places so you have to make it work by doing it yourself.

We refuse to cut or shave down any wirey coat on any terrier/schnauzer that comes in our door at the salon because its much better for the dog to have its natural wirey coat! Keep up the good work! As long as it doesnt hurt the dog and the fur has good quality, its better for the dog to have wirey coat. Just because the dog isnt a show dog, that doesnt mean it deserves less to have good quality fur that protects them from the weather and dirt that is outside.
