Hello friends
In today's tutorial, I will show you how to make a copper wire charm bracelet. With this step by step beginner tutorial, I'll show you how to make the chain, the charms and how to make knotted headpins for your beads.
A really sweet and fun project, perfect for the beginner.
You will need:
1mm (18g) copper wire (or any wire of your choice)
0.6mm (22g) copper wire (or any of your choice)
Flush Cutters
6 step pliers (mine are 2-9mm)
2 x chain nose pliers
Beads of your choice. I suggest no larger than 6mm
Ruler
Bench block and hammer (optional)
Have fun with this project and make LOTS and LOTS !!!
Sam
Credit to Linda at Gumnut Lane Jewellery, who inspired this piece. Watch her tutorial on how to make a belcher chain from half round wire. Thanks Linda xx

ANOTHER GGGGRRREATTTTT ONE!! [Of course, at this point, I would expect nothing less, because they are ALLLLLL GREAT!!] Lol! I too, saw the trick about making a bit of space between your coils for cutting & alas, I too, cannot remember from who/which channel it came from! [Although, unlike you, I ALWAYS forget to do it!! T/Y for the reminder! Aaaahhhh! The virtues of aging! "Ain't" it great!🙄🤪🤗😶] T/Y so much! Anyhow, I've seen [& tried] several versions of "security/secure" clasps, however, have not found, really any, that I've found equally secure & aesthetically pleasing.... [W/cold connections ~ no soldered parts but as secure as say a lobster claw clasp. Because I'm constantly losing chains I've made! Again, the aging thing, I'm afraid! 😂] Is there any possibility that you could demo/teach us some of these please???? I/we appreciate all of your tutorials, the time/effort they take, etc, etc!! 💜💜🤙🌊🤟🏻🏝🤙🏻💜💜 Aloha & Mahalo Nui Loa for ALLLLL YOU DO!! P.S. I've been using wire wrapping & wire jewellery making techniques for over a decade [mostly self-taught] & still learning of course! But, WHENEVER I see that you've put out a new video I'm ALWAYS EXCITED 🎉 because I always know that it will be so GREAT & VERSATILE! You're such an AMAZINGLY ADEPT & TALENTED artist, & ESPECIALLY WONDERFUL at teaching and demonstrating as well [of course!!]☺️💜🤙🏻

I wish I could remember where I saw that trick so I could credit them, but I can’t for the life of me remember who it was. I *think* it was a Russian wire artist, but I can’t really remember 😧 I agree about secure clasps and it’s always hard to make one by hand that’s super secure so I’ll think about doing a little tutorial soon. Hope you’re doing well 🤗 and A'ole pilikia 🥰

Adorable ! 😊 Thanks Sam , another crackin tutorial x P.S thanks for the tip on seperating the coil. I make hundreds of jump rings by hand as ive started dabbling in chainmaille. @@samanthalatimer1 arnt we just ? And neither of us look a day over 21 😁 Yep, tried that piece of wire trick last night and yr right ! Total game changer ! So thanks. I struggle with quite a few chainmaille patterns, becos im a leftie, so i have to do everything back to front, upside down, and inside out lol... but once i get it the chain maille bracelets are fab. You feel such a sense of accomplishment! I dont know if you follow anyone in particular for chainmaille, but i highly recommend Aussie maille (ive made lots of hers) shes a great teacher. And shimmery moon maille is really good too. Have fun ! Cant wait to see some of your maille creations x 🙂

Thanks for another great tutorial. If someone is worried about the strength of the chain, just use the 2 in 2 weave rather than the one in one.
