As someone with finger tattoos. They’re incredibly painful, because it basically tattooing your bones. Not to mention your hands are constantly being used, constantly shedding more than any other part of your body. It will look good for a couple months but it won’t stick by the 6-8th month. You’ll have to get them redone on the regular. It really isn’t worth the money and pain

You gotta understand an apprenticeship is tough and some people pay thousands of dollars and years of their life learning. I didn’t pay for my apprenticeship but I was also taught a very traditional way, and for someone who did pay thousands of dollars it’s very disrespectful to watch over someone if you weren’t invited. The reason for that is because you never know who is gonna try to bum off the technique you spent years to master or bum of your special style. Put it this way let’s say you figured out how to peel an apple and it’s way more efficient and preserved more of the apple and you sold the very well peeled apples and some guy just walks to the back of your shop to watch you peel those apples you’d think he’s trying to learn how you peeled your apples and he does now it’s biting into your business.

When he talked about tattoos migrating with weight gain, it reminded me of a woman I saw on tv who had breast reconstruction following a mastectomy. The best tissue and skin for her type of reconstruction had a tattoo on it. So her new breast had a tattoo on it! I’m sure there were other options discussed but she went with that option as it would get the best result for her

@@solitaryflower The same goes for physicians. I've met plenty that cannot explain anything to save themselves. It's something called "the curse of knowledge". Experts in a field so adept they can't relate to the novice, and thus make extremely poor educators because they get frustrated with the lack of knowledge others have. On the other hand, you have people who read something 5 hours in advance and will deliver it in a perfect way so that it sticks with others. And sometimes, you have experts that manage to retain that empathy and understanding of the unlearned. Those people are gems.

The reason there's no such thing as a perfect circle is not mathematical but physical.
