@@BigDocAnime Nah... what usually has the opposite effect is someone who is full of themselves but creates a distance between you and them, as though they are a god or something. Mark Cuban, as well as other business persons (i.e. Jack Ma), make you feel like, "Yeah... although it would take a lot more, the same rules apply to me as to you, and everything can come falling down for me as well." And that's why they seem more approachable, which is great if you're gonna be a successful business person.

If it takes 10million usd to be a crypto whale and there is potential in the crypto market anybody diversifying their assets would buy some. Mark's net worth is over 5.2bn now take that and divide it by 100million, that's 52. So mark has 52 times 100million. Divide that by 10, if a crypto whale is 10million, Mark can be about 520 crypto whales. So the real question you should be asking is why does it supprise you.

@wolimoli
@wolimoli 4 жыл бұрын
@@mitchelll3189 It would be a huge boon to small businesses. Maybe not in the first or second month of paying those hourly rates but relatively quickly local businesses will thrive under that. The thing that local businesses have to compete over the cheap prices of big stores is quality that usually comes at a slight cost premium. Most people don't want to pay less for a worse service or worse products so once they start getting paid more and get some debts out of the way they will go to those local businesses much more frequently than they otherwise would

Mitchell L small businesses can manage themselves better. Countless times I see local businesses with far too many employees on duty doing nothing and wasting time just to get paid 7 dollars an hour. Higher minimum wage can encourage employing only what is necessary for a wage that will influence the employee to demonstrate effective habits while on duty
@BillyBobbby
@BillyBobbby 4 жыл бұрын
It is bad business to pay for 15 dollars an hour for a task that should only cost $7 dollars an hour to complete. Example, cashiers at fast food restaurants, were demanding 15 dollars an hour, they are now getting replaced with automatic ordering machines that allow customers to put in their order. Operating cost of those machines are less than 15 dollars an hour. If you force a business to pay 15 dollars an hour for a low skilled worker, a business will do whatever it can to reduce that cost. Raising the minimum wage will not fix the issue. Those jobs are meant for low skilled high school students, not to support entire families. Continued increases to the minimum wage, will cause everyone to be pay $20 for a fast food burger. . . who is going to pay that?

Mitchell L Walmart, target, Amazon want 15 an hour min wage. They can afford the 100k point of sale and inventory systems that eliminate jobs. Small stores cannot. Local Walmart had one attendant to 10 self checkout registers last time I was there. That’s what 15 an hour looks like
