Nice walk through. Will be doing my 2009 as soon as my charger arrives.. Although the actual setup is PNP, the time it takes to get to the PNP is another thing. It usually is. On another note. I work in aviation as a maintenance tech. One of our favorite sayings is 'all you gotta do' . When we here that we know that 1- the job may be as easy as PNP but 2- the time it will take to actually get to that point is a whole other thing. So, all I gotta do is a whole lot more than PNP. ( I'm using the plug-n-play as a reference for an easy job.) I appreciate the vids you do for us 2nd gen owners. Thanks.

Thank you for the walkthrough install. I installed mine today in about 30 minutes using this video as my guide. The longest part was connecting to the cigarette plug and fishing the cord through.

I'm going to check to see if they offer this for a 2013 with a manual transmission, as the console differs in the area where this is installed. In fact the complete console is different.

That's an insane amount of console disassembly just to access the lighter socket for a power 12 volt power source. You might say it's a lot of wiring to go wireless lol. I don't need wireless charge capability that bad. Stick to wired charging....

Dude, I’m sorry but there is NO WAY you did this in 20 minutes. You basically have to take off the entire middle part of your dash, drill into your OEM panel (which a lot of people are not gonna want to do), take out the radio (I have no idea why you even did that, looks like you could have got away without it), as well as the shift control panel and cup holders. You should have done a video on taking out the OEM wireless charger from an actual 3rd gen instead of the cheap after market one. How many times has your phone slid and fell out of that spot? 😅 I’ll just plug mine in to the radio so it can charge and I’ll have Apple CarPlay. 3rd gen owners just like to buy ANYTHING 🤣

Thats wayyy too much work and ubstill cant even look atvur phones navigation. Just buy a tech deck cell/gps/gopro mount/ram mount. And buy a ram mount wireless or a quad lock wireless with the case. I bought the 4 hole mound quad and trimmed around usingvram mount 2 hole as the template, then it matched the holes. They have mechanical mounts and magnetic/mech hybrid mounts

The wireless charger in the 3rd gens are overrated, it charges my phone for tops 20 minutes before it starts beeping because it's too hot. It needs a built in fan to cool the phone while charging.

I have a 2018 and the wireless charger SUCKS for the iPhones. It is useless. Works great for androids though. It makes your iPhone really hot and charges so slow.
