There are two parts to this video!
First my opinions and some overall discussion around the TMA-2 Studio wirleless headphones.
Then: Beat making and live recording with the wireless headphones! This time without using any samples at all. It's all instruments, they're all played by me and arranged into a little something in Logic. Drums from Maschine+, Synth stuff on the Skulpt Synth SE from Modal, Micro Freak from Arturia and the OP-1 from Teenage Engineering. That and a bit of Bass, Guitar and Scratch...
I think the jam turned out great and the headphones stood up too this test beautifully!

I've been advocating these cans for YEARS!!!! Love these headphones. I use them for music, video production, and any and all calls. Love em. I WOULD get the leather cups. My alcantara ones have worn out twice.

Hi when you print your audio files from midi to audio using blue tooth does the audio clip itself lose its quality?

PSA: HORRIBLY LOUD HISS AND CLIPPING!!! Most reviews won't talk about as they are paid shills by AIAIAI!!! Everyone and their nana and even doggo is blessing these cans to Valhalla tho the hissing is super fucking loud and can be annoying. Like an built in white noise feature. On max. volume on them the hiss is way too loud! Pushing the Volumedown button 6 times makes it almost inaudible tho then the cans are too quiet. Really gone is the hiss firsif you press the Volumedown button 8 times tho then again are the cans waaaay too quiet!! Using an amp to power the cans is also not great as they start to be clipping really bad relly soon!!! No one was reporting on this. Tho no wonder if AIAIAI gives those cans to ppl to 'test/review' aka do lazy marketing... One Love! Always forward, never ever backward!! ☀️☀️☀️ 💚💛❤️ 🙏🏿🙏🙏🏼

Hey accurate! How do you like the wavestate? It’s the exact sound I want from a synth, but the patch creation process is super intimidating to me and I don’t want to rely on the software/vst to make patches. Have you been able to create any patches just on the hardware? Is it a headache?

I was super stoked for the wavestate when I got it…. For about 5 weeks. Once I got done with the presets, I was pretty much done with it. I’ve seen people who can find new and interesting ways to use it, but to achieve any of that requires a good amount of menu diving which I can’t stand. I sold mine and got a minilogue xd then upgraded to a prologue 16. Unless you like menu diving or just are cool with letting it drone in the background, I can’t say I recommend it. Beautiful piece of gear that just didn’t connect with my workflow.

@@mentalfortitude5718 thanks for the reply - I actually have a minilogue XD which I love, but wanted to expand to something non-analogue in the near future. You confirmed my thought though that I would only be interested in the unit as long as the presets kept me busy. I love creating my own patches on the XD but if menu diving is a big part of it on the wavestate, then I think I will pass.

@@__cal29 glad I could help out. Btw did you know if you power it up and twist the knobs you’ll get a mini space invader kinda game that you can play while it’s tuning?

@@mentalfortitude5718 yep! I would’ve never figured that out though on my own if I didn’t see it on some KZfaq video. If you beat it before the synth is done tuning it shows you a picture of one of a few developers. I’ve seen aphex twin a few times, I think he assisted with the microtuning stuff

Man, good video: I like how you superimpose the audio wave on your video. Pretty cool. Unfortunately it’s a sponsored video which it doesn’t really tell me if the headphones are good or not but just that you got paid to make a video about it (no shame about it: I’d do it too). Everything I read about these headphones is that there is some latency and an ubiquitous hiss when used wirelessly that affects the already sub par sound quality.
