I’ve had them on my 07 for a year. They are holding up well and work great. A little pricey, but worth it for the look, function and ease of install.

What a great idea, I think the holes is what detours most people from getting cab lights. Keep us posted on how they hold up. And I agree if you could wire them into a switch they would be perfect.

Easily worth $400. This is 2022 Remote. No drilling of holes. No leaks. No rust. I’ll be seeking them. Get what you pay for is absolutely correct. Keep up great videos

This is great, I wish someone made like some sort of license plate light “pass through” socket remote for this, that way when you turn on your parking lights the socket would tell the cab lights to turn on 🤔

This is the first I have seen of these lights. I really like the idea and no holes, no wiring, solar charging, and easy installation are super big pluses. That being said, I'm not a fan of the screw right dead center in the front of the lens. I think a front hinge clip rear screw arrangement or sliding the lens into channels into grooves in the gasket secured with a rear screw arrangement could have made a more aesthetically pleasing design. Maybe those will come in a second generation design. I'm still interested and will have to look more into these.

I put oem ones on my obs, smoked oem style. Drilling worked well for me, they where like $34, and they work as long as the truck itself actually has batteries. Kinda neat, I do think wired LED’s would be better myself, they are done and just work.

Do it yourself please the seal and wiring has to be perfect on each light 💡 it’s worth the piece of mind! Plus you can move them from truck to truck 🛻 Winning 🏆

I have a 1st Gen crew cab Cummins truck with the OEM style cab lights that I merely black RTV sealed against the bases, and have had no leaks ever. Haven't had a bulb go out up there since I installed them in 2002! I also can tell when they're on from inside the cab by their reflection off the ram head hood ornament, LOL! I use my truck for a transport business, and can tell you that the strobe function would be perfect for those of us who haul big, and want that caution strobe light in the front while hauling, like the semi's have. That's my guess why they incorporated that function. Great looking product though!

i just bought an 05 commin rail 4x4, i love your set up.

There cool and all but i want super bright lights so i bought the oe kit from the dealership drilled the 15 holes myself did all the work myself and put vleds ultrabright amber leds bulbs in and absolutely love them, super bright and come on with the park lights. But pro cons to all things, ive had no issues in a year plus since install just made sure i laid a good bead of clear silicone every where.

Working in construction the strobe feature is a good addition but with them falling out of sync just sounds like a pain thanks for the video!

I used a set from dodge $120 from the dealer with a stencil. Step drill bit and some silicone never had a leak. Tapped right in to the factory harness scary but easy.

debating buying these, as for the remotes, you can wire it into a switched ingition source with a diode or voltage reducer inline. See what power is going on the remotes circuit board and reduce accordingly. they look sharp!

Could make a emitter that ties into the ignition. One the ignition turns on then it emits a signal for the cab lights to come on/stay on. Once the ignition is turned off so is the emoter for the cab lights.

i did my cab lights so sketchily and they should definitely leak but they haven't yet, been almost 2 years. Was looking at these a while ago but they were too pricey and only pre order. But I wouldn't want to drill into that nice of a truck either haha good choice

Just got these a little over a month ago and I am not to content with them so far. You can't tell when one of the lights dies in the middle of driving. I charged them under direct light for 4 days (cab over America recommended per email) drove for about and hour and when I got to my destination lights were off. Tried turning them back on and nothing. Used the back up key fob and still nothing. Charged them again and Ill wait to see if they stay on long enough which is the huge problem with these lights. They don't stay on long enough although per instructions they have about 12 hours of life when fully charge which I call BS on that cuz I ve already had a bad experience. Ill either ask for a new set or return them and go hard wired.

wait so you have to remember to turn the lights on they cant turn on when you put your parking lights on or headlight...idk about that i rather just have a hole in the rood i never had a issue with any b4 i always had stock cab lights tho. only thing id buy this for is my 1500 for strobe lights but i dont need strobes on that truck

Great review, thank you. Had a thought, not sure if you had tried...do you have garage door open buttons in your cab? If so, wouldn't it be possible to sync your fob buttons to those GDO buttons just like you would in any other radio frequency application? Doesn't solve your issue with syncing to your head lights, but it would remove the additional fob from the equation.

I never cared for rams but this truck looks pretty good. The only thing that’s I really don’t like is the yellow fogs it’s a ricer thing to me but to each his own. I’m interested in the wireless cab lights my hd doesn’t have any

They need to come up with like a wireless box That can be plugged in to headlight switch signal or a toggle switch in the cab for the box to send wireless signal to turn on and off or a real time app of what they are doing also to be able to sync them

Nice review.. except for the one complaint that you can't hardwire them in.. seems like a odd complaint considering you got wireless for a reason, so you don't have to drill into the roof.

I don’t like how you have to take the cap light off in Rockaway from your truck if it becomes out of sync they of made it so you could use the fob to restart that’s a big worry for me buying these

I've done cab lights the hard way 2 or 3 times now. I would rather do this cleaner look, deal with the out of sync issues, and turning the cab lights on manually when I already turn my headlights and rigid cubes my fog light location which are on a separate remote. If I forget to turn them on who cares
