Wiring a Seaflo 3-way switch to a bilge pump and 12-volt battery

5 жыл бұрынThis video is specific to wiring a Seaflo brand 3-way switch pump with a bilge pump and a 12-volt battery. There is a wiring scheme in the first few minutes. I suggest you look at that carefully, maybe even hitting the pause button for a little bit. At the end of this video, I will show you a wrong way to wire them.

you need to run a ground wire from that top terminal that's empty on top if you want the red light to light up when pressing manual mode. just put all three ground wires together - the battery - the one from the pump - the one from that top terminal -

Looks good per wiring schematic that spade connector on top is suppose to be wired to ground right?

I've 3 wires coming off my seaflo like yours but only going into a 2 wire connector, which of the 3 wires is the neutral as I presume it's live and neutral back to the manual on off switch. Thanks.

I had the same switch and the manual button lit up red when pressed. Went defective and had it replaced. As yours does the red led that used to work on manual doesn't on the replacement.

hello great illustration because i have the smae switch. But i am confused about the black and red wires coming into photo at the bottom. please explain that to me . thanku
