Just went grouse hunting for the first time in my life. Went by myself, no dog and shot 1 of the 2 I saw. Also got some woodcock. What a blast and now all I wanna do is bird hunt again

There is nothing like mid October with a decent pointing and retrieving dog, for woodcock hunting in Wisconsin.....nothing.
