Not a Wisconsin fan, but when I watched this live I got straight up chills. Watching Gus Johnson bobbin’ in the booth, sweetheart Jenny Taft jumping around, and the whole stadium and Wisconsin squad turning up, I had to bob my head on my couch. I was born in 1969, and I didn't hear a word you said. I had my hearing aids turned off. What was that again? Something about back pain? Lemme tell you, sonny, you don't KNOW back pain. But I can tell you this... all them kids on the screen are smokin' the wacky weed, that's for darned sure. Seriously, I was in my first year of teaching when this song dropped... my colleague, the head speech coach, HATED it. I was an asst coach. We were traveling to Eugene, OR for a tournament, and our bus broke down. One kid with a boom box was blasting this song for the 2 hours it took for the backup bus to arrive, and I thought my fellow educator was going to straight up murder that kid. It was the screeching every 4 beats that got to him so much. When he became our principal, I played it FULL BLAST in his office to "welcome" him to the job. It. Was. EPIC.
