I don't think it's a language at all... It might be trying to represent some sort of bastardized version of some kind of Germanic (I don't want to say it's entirely German, it could be reflecting other Germanic languages, such as Swedish or Danish), but really it seems to be some kind of reverse English-to-Germanic (whether German, Swedish, Danish, etc.) mixed in with some other nonsense words, possibly... Thus my fairly definitive answer: this is not a language.
@Lucaz999 жыл бұрын
Just to be sure, can you speak/understand German? Are you an linguist/expert?
@CharlesB1479 жыл бұрын
... I work in linguistics, but Germanic languages aren't exactly my specialty, though I know enough German to get by. What I can say is that if the whole thing were consistently in German the word used for "God" would at least be "Gott" or something close to it (I'm fairly certain). The fact that the word used is "Guden" represents a different language, Swedish or Danish most likely, I think. But the way he represents the words "Visdüm Tooten" at the close of the film ... I'm not sure of any Germanic language that calls the "wisdom teeth" "Visdüm Tooten". (Even Wiktionary doesn't have an entry reflecting the words "visdüm" or "tooten.") (In Swedish "teeth" = "tänder", in Danish "tænder", in Norwegian "tenner", and in German "Gebiss".) (In Swedish, Danish, and Norwegian, "wisdom" = "visdom" with an "o", not with a "u + umlaut", and in German "Weisheit.") As to the end credits altogether, I don't think they reflect a particular usage of any one language, possibly not reflecting the usage of any language at all. The only thing I assumed, for the sake of consistency, was that whatever was being spoken throughout the film was the same as that which is represented in the end credits.

It's a jokey American/Midwest version of the Scandinavian languages, much like the Swedish Chef on the Muppets show. Some of it is real (nei means no), but mostly it's just using the rhythm and English guesswork. Well done.

Yeah, I think it's like symbolic of [forcefully, and largely against your will] losing your inner child (innocence, playfulness, joyfulness and the like), usually at the hands of someone or something external trying to make you grow up and become a responsible adult and whatnot (facing all the crap of the world that adults have to deal with such as pain and suffering and consequences of your actions and so on), and then not being able to put it back in one it's out (you can never be an innocent child again once you've seen the [real] world through the eyes of an "adult"). Or something like that.
