How come Earthling Cinema only talks about movies from the 20th-21st century? What about all the masterpieces in the 23rd century? or 28th?

I think the audience's empathy for him comes partly from the fact that his first day on Wall St is shown near the beginning, we're attached to the early impression of him as an 'uncorrupted' rookie just trying to make a living.

I like how this basically completely underemphasized like one of the really important ideas in this movie about how HE GOT AWAY WITH IT. He got away with all the bad shit he did. Like there are no consequences for the rich in America. That's the most important takeaway as far as I'm concerned.

Am I the only one who misses the old 8-bit philosophy format. Don't get me wrong, I like some of the new ones too and I know that sometimes channels change.Who knows, maybe they got rid of the old narrator or animator and the can't make anymore. But I'd like it if there is a way for them to coexist with each other. Like one week the do it one way and hen they do a different one the other week. I'll stay subscribed to this channel either way. Just a suggestion.

man that British narrator is as good as morgan freeman. and the way they animate and explain philosophy is really clear. as a med student, i don't have time to read philosophy and literature, wisecrack really knows how to summarise the best of what those 2 could offer. this is the best channel in youtube.

+Clint Eastwood There is no hidden meaning in this movie, other than how to get your hands on 'loods!
@PDMCHEZITSmsta8 жыл бұрын
I think they hidden meaning is in how they portray all these subjects. the overdone excess is on purpose so that you can see it and feel some connection to living a dream (making the long film still very fun to watch) but also so you can see it and be disgusted by the characters and their actions.
@towngreen8 жыл бұрын
+Nitya Chatra The masses (both in the film: those defrauded by the finance industry & those motivational self-help consumers; & outside the film: the movie watching audience) consent to their own harm, robbery, deception for the reward of vicarious consumption of a power fantasy wherein they themselves are many, mediocre, weak while their mutually dependent counterparts are few, exceptional, powerful - the hidden meaning is that Jordan is each person's ideal self but both are equally pathological inverted images of each other - the repressed are such because they desire their own repression - slave morality is needed to uphold kings.

Garyx this was a great comment you made. You managed to talk about deep spiritual truths: how the common man fuels his oppressors himself and even is entertained doing so. The revalation must be in the end of the movie because then the Matrix Control Virtual realty has approval from the universe to put people under stronger bondage. Your eyebrows are also great, I suspect you have a shielding device inside them that prevents people hating you when you tell them the truth into their faces ? :)
