※Ok guys, my ineloquent ass tried her best to put into words what I wanted to express with this video, hope you can cringe yourself through it if you want to know what it's about: ~ sad music on ~ Life knew no mercy. Jimin had been hospitalized with a difficult disease making him distancing himself from everyone he knew, even his family. About a year later, Jungkook was brought to the hospital after being involved in a car accident where he lost both of his parents, leaving him emotionally numb. It was then, when they were both at their weakest, that Jimin and Jungkook ran into each other in that alley of the hospital. (0:44 - 0:47 / 0:49 - 0:51) Jungkook didn't quite understand what drove him wanting to get closer to that boy who would only keep pushing him away. "We all need something watching over us. Be it the falcons, the clouds or the crows." No one grasped how Jungkook managed to find a way through Jimin's carefully built up wall, but he did and Jimin's mental condition was slowly getting better. When Jungkook was released from the hospital, he would come and visit Jimin as often as he could. As time went on he found out that Jimin loved being close to the sea and this is where Jungkook would bring him often, either alone or with friends (0:32 - 0:44 / 1:03 - 1:15 / 2:34 - 2:43). "And I never minded being on my own. Then something broke in me and I wanted to go home. To be where you are." And Jungkook knew by then, he had found a new home with Jimin. And so did Jimin, yet none of them was courageous enough to take a step closer to the other. "But even closer to you, you seem so very far." (1:16 - 1:22) Wherever they went, a constant sadness kept accompanying Jimin that would just never leave and Jungkook sensed it. The day Jungkook drove to the hospital wanting to finally confess his feelings to Jimin, was the day Jimin drowned himself in the bath tub. "And then the sea swept in and left us all speechless. Speechless.." (3:19 - 3:32) Jungkook had yet lost another loved one he could never forget about. Jimin was gone. But Jungkook still felt his presence wherever he went and kept wanting to remember him, no matter how much it hurt. "And if I stay home, I don't know- There'll be so much that I'll have to let go. You're disappearing all the time. But I still see you in the light. For you, the shadows fight. And it's beautiful but there's that tug in the sight. I must stop time traveling, you're always on my mind." (1:40 - 2:34) He wasn't emotionally able to take part at Jimin's funeral (3:34 - 3:43) but kept returning to the sea where they always hung out, wishing Jimin could be there beside him. Jungkook couldn’t help but dream about him, yet ending up waking up from a nightmare that recalled this dreadful day and the darkness that had constantly devoured Jimin from within. "I've tried to leave it all behind me. But I woke up and there they were beside me." Jungkook tried his best not to blame himself but there were beside him every day. The constant feelings of guilt of not having realized Jimin was in such a dark place, not having been able to help him and never having conveyed his true feelings kept eating him up from inside. (0:21 - 0:31) "Oh there it is again, sitting on my chest. Makes it hard to catch my breath. I scramble for the light to change."(0:47 - 0:52) What Jungkook didn't know was that Jimin was still here, not on earth but at an eternal place under the sea beyond the living. From there he tried reaching out to Jungkook wanting to tell him how sorry he was for leaving but he finally felt at peace and missed him just as much. "And now I'm reaching out with every note I sing. And I hope it gets to you on some pacific wind. Wraps itself around you and whispers in your ear. Tells you that I miss you and I wish that you were here." (1:23 - 1:40) When Jungkook was alone in his room and stared at a painting Jimin gave him, he realized that it was actually a painting of himself. Jimin had drawn Jungkook without ever having told him. He then noticed a note that had dropped out from behind the painting with the words "I wish that you were here". It was Jimin's handwriting. (2:46 - 3:18 / 6:39 - 6:41) "And I don't believe it but I guess it's true. Some feelings, they can travel too." Now Jungkook was trying to reach out for Jimin and followed the lights that surrounded him. He needed to see him again and tell him everything he couldn't. The lights led him into a magical space where Jimin suddenly appeared in front of him. It all felt like a dream so he stepped forward and reached out his hand. (4:04 - 4:07 // 4:15 - 4:42) When Jungkook had entered that space, he wasn't part of the living anymore. He had been hit by a car seeming to have fallen into a trance and was on his way to the eternal place under the sea where Jimin was. (4:53 - 5:15) And this is where Jungkook was finally able to truly reach Jimin. (6:42 - end) UFF. Thank you so much if you made it through. wow. It's hard to put any exact timepoints of the video in this description as this is all a big time mashup jumping between memories from the past, present and the eternal place under the sea.
