You know how when it snows you can’t hear things as well because the snow softens the sounds. Everything sounds breezy and hazy. That’s how Wish You We’re Here sounds. Beauty in the silence of desolation. Joey is 100% right about this album being the one for a snowy day.

I found Joey Dias on KZfaq just looking around and ever since I’ve been watching and learning about him & his life which I think is amazing, I’m not drawn to many people but Joey I am for some reason, he just touches my heart again for some reason. Glad I found him, I haven’t laughed so much in a very long time so for that I Thank him,dealing with PTSD isn’t fucking easy but Joey sure makes it easy for me to forget while listening to him, won’t forget that Joey.

An often over looked Pink Floyd album that i LOVE is The Final Cut. It's quite a bit softer, but it has held a large part of my heart since i was a kid. Check it out

@@xaviervanderzandt I'm not sure I can pick a favorite, but the three songs at the end in that order are so sweet. The final cut Not now John Two Suns in the sunset. A song about sadness and contemplating suicide. Then an upbeat song about F all that, we have to move on. And then the grand finale that's so melancholy about memories while a nuke wipes everything out anyways. Lol. Wow. What an ending. I just finished listening to it in its entirety while stretching this morning. I absolutely love it!

Hey are all records priced high? At a local book store they have some records. Player is like $129.99 or whatever, but walking past I noticed the TOOL undertow record. Only list the tracks you get on the 📀 but this recorded was priced $55.99 Why so much🤔 What am I not knowing about records & yo the songs are a few taps of the keyboard & a click away. The CD wouldn't even be that much. Hell might of had that CD in the 90's & if I did it was probably under $30.✌

Most of the time it is do to collecting value/special editions. Im a bit of a hipster and have a small collection of different albums. Unless you have a completely analog setup with speakers/some great headphones youre not going to get out of it what you could get with a flac setup.

Floyd is similar to the beatles. They both shaped modern music and inspired countless musicians. Unfortunately most of the people they inspired went on to make absolute shit. It reminds me of a tsunami, the beach is dope right before one hits, the tide goes way out and it looks pretty. Then the water comes and everything turns to shit. Floyd is the pristine beach view before the tsunami
