i hate it when people compare this is mashle and asta, like yes we get it, but put that aside and we got a pretty fucking good first ep of a new anime. animation was amazing, and the music was great too

Also agree. I don't even like Mashle. There's nothing appealing or relatable about an MC who's so stupid he can't even open a door. This anime, on the other hand, is a banger out of the gate.

Like it or not, comparison are going to be made since all three follow the same basic story concept, a non magic user in a magical world aiming for the top spot, while each character is slightly different from the other, the overall story concept is the same. So of course comparison are going to be made to Black Clover and Mashle.
