The gluttonies really isn't a deadlock... Like at all.... Tappei literally stated that Daphne is way stronger than Roswaal meanwhile he also stated Roswaal would beat all archbishops but Regulus. Carmilla beating Capella is also outright stated. Unless every character from Rem level and up can level mountains with a single blow Sirius killing Minerva is also not happening. Actually nvm, I take that back. Sirius could theoretically win by injuring herself, transferring it to Minerva, and then letting Minerva heal her. That is literally the only way she could even damage her though.

In a Q&A, the author stated that if Daphne and Lye Batenkaitos, Roy Alphard, and Louis Arneb were to fight, it would most likely end in a draw.

@@abdulmalikabdulmueez7383 That’s not entirely true. He was very vague and basically just said it’s a "tricky" matchup but that "Gluttony and gluttony" might be evenly matched. I assume the reason it is so tricky is because once they achieve their full potential like Ley at the end of arc 6 they could be evenly matched but the problem is that only Ley has so far. Remember, We're talking about someone who is MUCH stronger than Roswaal vs three opponents who (if we're only talking about their base forms) are stated to only be about twice as strong as Garfiel. There's no way they could stand a chance against Daphne without unlocking their full power.
