I love the little touch of the voice acting, it just works. Also, the fact this actually incorporate the physics of a proper Sonic is cool, hell I do mean it. Even if it had the physics of Sonic 4. I would have gave it some applause.

Wow, I was expecting it to be an hour long like the Tails route. Ok, so... Knux is always on the island, right? Alone. He just comes to help Sonic when there's a major issue, like Exetior pointed out. So he got tricked into coming here, sees Exetior and the illusions, and they make him go insane. Like, he was crying near the end. Tails goes insane when he kills, cuz he's sweet and not a killer. Knux goes insane from the illusions, cuz he's always alone (so probably gets lost in thought a lot), and maybe he can't tell if these are real or not, but he thinks they are. That's my guess. Oh, geez, I wonder what makes Eggy crazy...???

I just had a thought. So the bad ending of Nightmare beginning is the canonical ending, which means tails, knuckles, and Eggman get turned into demons. They also help Exetior with the problem involving the highests. But if Knuckles is always helping Exetior, who’s guarding the master emerald or heck what’s been going on with angel island the entire time? If anyone can answer this, that would be nice.
