To me what makes this scene so powerful was that she helped these ordinary people with a little effort thrive and have a good business and a good livelihood. With that little effort which might not have meant as much to her, they gladly reached into their own pockets gathered money to send to her. They barely know each other personally but they heard of her plight and felt it was their time to help her when she helped them. The difference of what their loving gesture to her vs the entire fiasco of her husband's betrayal, lying, financial abuse, and overall mistreatment over a span of years. The 1 person she trusted with her life, love, heart, soul, and future, threw that all away for a piece of a$$. Sometimes the most humble and poor can teach us what really matters and how to act and treat each other. At the end she is far luckier than him. I'm sure his parents are equally devastated over all this, but they can't raise their heads for the shame he brought their family. That's what they raised. I'd be ashamed just knowing him. He never really repented, he just got caught. True repentance would have happened after the first time he had sex with the mistress. When he kept going back, he went beyond that point. Total scumbag and he knows it.

My sister is going through the same situation but sadly she isn't that strong...ik it may seem harsh But she isn't... She had a love marriage , she was 7 or 6 years older than him...before marriage he used to visit us alot...and he was just too good...or maybe acting like one.. After few years of marriage he changed...they even have a son...but....He said he don't love my sister anymore....that mistress used to go to the same gym as my sister...and was a Student in my sister's academy.....my sis was so shocked and broke...we investigated him alot..and found all about their relationship...My sister once went to her house and she threatened of harming our family... That mistress even pushed my sis and her son on road in front of truck... thankfully the people there knew my sis and helped her...We were so shocked and all of our relatives went to the scene immediately...and that happened in front of Police Station...but still they managed to get that mistress away....that jerk didn't even cared to ask if his son is okay or not... I hate him the most.... My sister recently shifted to her academy with her son... She isn't even ready to take divorce...we all gave so many advices to her..idk why she still is waiting for him... Even someone who don't know her and meets her can tell how worse her situation is...like her face have become so dull.. I wish my sister can gather up some courage and take some bold mooves...😩
