I want to make sure I understand the aide-de-camp rules---I understand that the Commander-in-chief rolls for aide-de-camp points and then decides how to employ them. That is one roll for the entire army, not a roll for each brigade commander. Is this correct? Thank you for your help! I really like this set of CW rules!

Hi! Thank you so much! Very happy you like the rules. Yes you are totally correct. One player rolls for the number of aide de camps (per side) and he rolls 1D5 and adds +1 to the score. This is how each game turn starts

No to distract from the gameplay, but how did you make that cornfield? It looks great and I've never found a cost effective way!

Thanks! They are corn stalks by JTT Scenics. The 2" version. You can buy them in packs on ebay. I mounted them on strips of mdf

I see how the ADCs work. If you had not used two ADCs on your second Union Brigade they would have failed to accomplish the full 3 moves, (because of the low dice roll) but if I got the rules right they would have been able to do a portion of it yes?

You are absolutely right James! Failing to roll high enough for all of your moves doesn't mean you can't do anything. If you had wanted to move 3 times but you only rolled high enough for 1 or 2 moves, you can still do those moves.

I just bought the PDF of your rules but I don't see any Quick Reference Sheet with it, was this intentional?

Is a 3-model (6 gun) Union battery considered "Large" and a 2-model (4 gun) Confederate battery considered "Average" in size?

Yes correct. In the case of Confederate batteries, most of them consisted of 4 guns (represented by 2 models). In sporadic instances, they used larger batteries so in the game these could still be represented by 3 models (large)
