I feel so bad for Godzilla in this movie. He was put in so many unfair circumstances. He got hit and almost killed by an oxygen destroyer when he was about to rip Ghidorah apart, and he got dropped from the sky because Ghidorah had wires to chew on. Ghidorah also retreated in the Antarctica fight. It’s almost like the humans were on Ghidorah’s side.

0:42 This is such a great underrated moment. In the original Godzilla 1954 film, the bombastic music was often associated with the military as they were doing their best to search for and fight Godzilla, but over time the music became synonymous with Godzilla fighting monsters and being a titan that causes destruction. Here, we see the music playing as both occur, showing that Godzilla has truly evolved and become an ally for humankind. Such a great moment when I saw this in theaters.
