@@markolumovic2750 - A matter of semantics; purists may call it splitting hairs but social/cultural historians would say that the difference between hard rock and heavy metal is so minimal as to be the same difference there is between "twelve eggs" & "a dozen" of the same.

@@armandocardona4478 Within Temptation and for example Unleash the Archers sounds nothing alike to me.And no I am not a purist far from it.I listened Coal Chamber when it was branded "nu metal" by "cool" kids.I also listen to Amaranthe legit mix of pop and metal.I don't get your defensive mode about Within Temptation being hard rock like there is something wrong with that.

@@markolumovic2750 - I hear ya & I agree 100% with your assessment; what I meant to say is that, aside from the fact that each group or band has its own distinctive sound, I was merely pointing out that when you get down to it all pop/rock stems from a basic source or sources & what we call "hard rock" & "heavy metal" share some common roots & are basically variations on a theme. Yes, they're different, but when push comes to shove they're not all THAT different. My opinion, of course.

Caramba, faz 8 anos que conheci e curti esta musica pela primeira vez. Que Nostalgia! Tinha 16 anos, assistia animes e jogava bola na rua. Hoje tou com 24, casado. Trabalho e faço faculdade. É uma outra fase e sei que lembrarei de hoje com nostalgia também, mas essa foi a melhor fase de minha vida. Obrigado Within Temptation.

I saw them live for the first time last week and having been a fan for some time, I was completely blown away. This was one of the first songs they did and I was so happy this was on the set list cause it's always been one of my favourites. Definitely one of the best bands I've ever seen live, I hope to see them again someday soon!! Best night of my life

Where did you see them? I was in Leeds last Saturday to see them and Evanescence, 2½ years after they were originally scheduled to play, and was absolutely blown away! I'd never particularly heard of Within Temptation until quite recently when my son introduced me to The Reckoning but I'm certainly a fan now, was already a massive fan of Evanescence. Both bands were tremendous and I was also very impressed with their support, Veridia. 😊

@@stevedevonport1038 I saw them at Leeds too! It was such a long wait but I feel like it was worth it, they were fantastic! I've been a fan of Evanescence pretty much all my life lol since my parents listened to them with me when I was younger, I kinda grew up listening to them and still do to this day :) I discovered Within Temptation a few years ago and became a fan of them as soon as I started listening to them lol, so it was awesome seeing two of my favourite bands in one night. The Reckoning was the first song of theirs I put on for my dad, since he came to the show with me and he wasn't familiar with them, he's become a fan too! Veridia were great as well, they had such a good stage presence. I'd love to see all three bands again sometime :)

I saw them for the 1st time three days ago, have been a fan since my 15. They opened with Our Solemn Hour, the band started playing 1st then she walks in singing, absolutely stunning, She looked like the Wonderwoman. They played Raise your Flag for Ukraine. Absolutely fckin epic. I like them even more now, my wife was with me, i had been showing her musics of them from KZfaq, now she says she can't Stop listening to their songs 😂👌

It is a damn shame that Lockk9's original video with this song and like 60+ million views was taken down. I dont know if it was copyright from Isle of Man producers or if it was from Within Temptation, either way that video was the best advertisement either party could have wished for.

@@jinglemyberries866 IIRC when it was originally taken down there was message saying "This video was removed due to a copyright claim by Isle of Man something-something". I would guess whichever tv production company recorded the actual race footage got a stick up their arse about Lockk9's video doing so well.
