wow you should see het new live shows, she can't sing the tunes of this cd. She used to be better than rhe cd., now you just hope it will be better. I love her so much, i can't let go of her voice and the voice of reason.

I saw them twice.. its really hit or miss. Either they preform like crazy, or they are very mediocre.. In their defence its also about what "extras" songs they play for fan service. Ice queen was fantastic

Its definitly harder then the records before. But its not that far away. For me it sounds like Power Metal. But this way is great for them. Every Album i fear that my lovely bands lose their Face but WT really dont losing their faces. This album will be a great mix from Symphonic to Power Metal. Its so good.

Tough call but you may be right. I LOVED And We Run, but this is way too epic for almost anything.

I always preferred Within Temptation heavier rock songs over their slower music, slow music just isn't my style. A Demon's Fate, Murder, Blue Eyes, songs along those lines was always the ones I preferred. So Raise Your Banner and The Reckoning, hell yea these songs are right up my style and perfect for me. So I hope they keep dropping more music like this, this stuff is epic.

The heart of everything was the last album I really liked with them, since then it's just been down hill... This just sounds like Generic metal or something.. Nothing epic about their music anymore. It's just sad. My opinion, don't mean to hate, just sayin'.

XD! i am an actual fan. this is one of the big 3 that got me into this genre to begin with and i follwed everything they've done.

0 progressive about this one tho. I doubt you would recognize a prog rock or prog metal band if you really think this has any progressive element musically. This is radio-friendly pop-rock with some run of the mill EDM effects. Nothing original, progressive or complex in this comercial, trite, simple pop-band.

An interesting merge between within temptation and in flames, i like it those screaming and the vocals of sharon, keep it that way but don't let the screams to steal all the focus of the vocals, as long as none of them taking over the other and they're both completing each other it can work great!

The reason is, for so long, it's been the Democrat party who has spoken honeyed words to the masses in the US, particularly minorities -- only to be do-nothings once elected in office, like Joe Biden. They talk a great game, but the results speak for themselves since Johnson in the 1960s: More people, particularly minorities, on government welfare; more consistent unemployment across the board, including during the Clinton years; the destruction of the manufacturing and energy sectors, which had provided well-paying union jobs. Need I go on? Yet you bring up Trump. Ironically, perhaps, 2020 showed the fatal flaw of the Democrat party and its policies, which is, for the longest time, they held both the minority vote, and the working class vote, yet Trump significantly increased the numbers of black voters, Hispanic voters, Asian voters, and overall working class voters. With the rioting, looting, and arson in Democrat cities, people who have been liberal, sometimes for years, decided to walk away from the Democrat party, because they realized everything they had been told was wrong. Louis Chandler I know this happens a lot in the earlier songs, but nowadays it's a rare thing. That's why the last seconds of the song made me smile. I've missed that voice 😊

@@cf80s I'm not so sure it's really a question of easy. Sure, singing very high notes in head voice is straining but singing in head voice doesn't have to be. I think it might also be a matter of personal liking and musical choices. I used to be very much into the female head voice singings, only caring for dem high notes and operatic-styled singing. Now I cringe when I hear bands whose singers only do that (although earlier stuff is fine as it's coated with nostalgy) and pretty much enjoy more mature singing and well-timed operatic/head voice insertions. I do think that the use of chest voice yields a piece that is more mature and striking, paired with higher notes for harmonies and musical climaxes , is definitely my personal favorite :D But once again it's a matter of personal choice (might be cause I like to sing along the things I'm listening to and bringing things down into my range doesn't quite convey the same feeling) and I also enjoy very much pretty much all of WT discography !
