If you're Zulu, you'll understand why he's being diplomatic when answering invasive questions. If someone tells you that his baby passed away, you wait for them to tell you how it happened, you don't go ahead and ask how the baby passed away. They don't owe us an explanation. I don't know how you do it in your culture, but there are boundaries.
