Hello! I'm from Chennai but wasn't into sarees a lot as I've always found it cumbersome to drape and difficult to carry. But followed your instructions this time for draping my Diwali saree by myself without anyone's help. It wasn't perfect but turned out much better than I expected. I attended a Nepali wedding a few years ago and thanks to your videos I was able to drape my saeree. Everyone was amazed by seeing me wearing it and asked me who had draped it for me. When I told me I did myself the ladies asked me for the video reference and I share your video with them. So since then I kept following you.

This makes my day. I have always wondered who to ask and from whom to learn things from. I had to learn a lot of things by myself. This is the real reason behind my channel, to have a platform where women can ask anything that they would ask their sister or their mom. Hi mam. I tried a lot. I am not able to reduce extra cloth of saree, specially last pallet. So the extra cloth will be remain at back side

Make a tiny pleat and tuck it in the back. It will solve it

Make sure you make your pleats even from the starting to the end. Like I show in all my draping videos, use safety pins to align your pleats. With a little practice you will be able to get it right. 💗

I can't insert my hand inside the belly part as I wearing the peticote titghty.. Otherwise I feel like loose loose.. Is it okay peticote little bit loose.. Thank you so much i got nice information regarding first pleat we can make triangle.. That is good method
