The problem with LB's rework is that they removed what made him broken but kind of forgot to give him something to counter balance it.

Fr, his OOS damage needed to go,sure. Turn down his light parry punish?, fair enough. But they half a.ss the offensive part. Shove is still slow and gives the opponent a gb on whiff, top heavy doesn't have a reason to exist since all neutral heavies give the same damage nor stun, at least stamina drain is gone. The only good offensive thing they gave is the Heavy+tap shortcut, and HA in mid chain heavies. Instead of changing the L-L-L into a L-L-H they just remove the lights overall. And like Conq, FOR SOME REASON, no rollcatcher. If you ask me,Conq and LB got the worst reworks so fsr

It wasn't even too broken, it just needed some adjustment. Apparently. Apparently lawbringer's heavy parry damage was too high and needed to go but warmonger gets to have 30 damage on heavy parry if there's a wall nearby and afeera whets like 40? They nuked his parry punishes and then didn't address any of the problems the character has

Love these videos bro. As new player/law chad, when do I go for a side heavy finisher vs a top heavy finisher? I know top does more damage but what's the benefit of the side heavy finisher?

Ausage, do you think you’d ever do a video where you fight viewers, or so brawls either viewers? You could implement certain requirements like memberships or how long they’ve been around, or hey, maybe if they asked you to play a character for 69 days 😂. I bet it’d be hard to set up, but I feel it could be fun to watch, or play depending on the opportunity. As always, great video!

As a certified knight hater (used to be a knight main) Lb got done dirty and actually needs some love. Heavy attacks damage (even with the confirmed light) seem low, long arm has little to no use (at least give it armour to make it useful in teamfights but not on start up) and no roll catcher still. They could still give LB the impale on heavy parry but just make it confirm the parry riposte on wall splat. Idk I haven’t play lb in a long time and I used to not like all the “lb need buff” talk but he’s not what he used to be and didn’t compensate for his loses.

Can I just say one thing? If you play law you need to use the long arm to get free damage. But other than that you play a great law!!😁😁

No, I just release them earlier to members rather than on the normal schedule! But this feature took a while to get properly implemented on KZfaq’s end.

What if they gave LB an undodgeable rollcatcher on forward dodge (say it's like 20 dmg)? Would that make his neutral pressure too strong when paired with his shove? What if it had the gb vulnerability of a neutral heavy?

Ah, he effectively already has that. His dodge forward heavy catches dodges and very often catches dodge attacks as you saw in this video. But the GB vuln is so high it’s insanely hard to use sometimes against certain opponents, and you can currently feint it too. I think this would change almost nothing.

@WithOneS true, and that is pretty strong vs dodges when it works, but it'd be nice to give him a rollcatcher. And personally, I find these unintended mix-ups in characters' kits super janky. Might as well take that and make it slightly faster, slightly safer, and call it out in his kit description imo

Lawbringers rework is litterally just taking out out his unhealthy stuff, make the punishes worse, give him Hyperarmor and your zone can now chain And thats terrible he got the conq treatment where the ideas of the tg are getting scrapped and the most changes are just taking away stuff

Just gonna put it out there that I'm pretty sure matches vs AI counts towards your stats.. so if someone just farms bots all day they could have inflated stats.

True but only in for honor, that won’t effect stats on for honor tracker for instance. I’ve never farmed, left games to preserve stats/mmr, or any of those shenanigans.

I think the problem is, they took LB defensive/punish aspects out (which tbh,some needed to go), but didnt give near enough to compensate offensive wise. Bash is still relatively slow and gives a GB to the opponent, top heavies but finisher have no reason to exist (same damage as side,worse tracking,no stun),no roll catcher (like,wtf, I thought the devs already knew a roll catcher is obligatory for every character). The only good things are the shortcut to finisher and HA on second heavy attack. The rest is either the same like pre-rework or worse. At least they remove stamina drain. But funnily enough keep it on warden the game's pet
