I mean, there are numerous arguments against the death penalty, but the most relevant is that the law is not infallible, and occasionally its straight up corrupt. According to a study by the 'innocence project'; 3200 people in America alone have been exonerated in the last 33 years. Almost 100 per year. And that's just those lucky enough to have their cases reviewed. 69 people have been exonerated from Death Row since 1973 as far as I can find, from an article in 2014, but I'm sure that number has risen. And numerous have been found to be innocent, after their execution. Maybe that will ingrain some understanding.

This! People are so reckless and then they have the audacity to say "I only took my eyes of them for a few seconds." I worked in retail and I was the fitting room attendant for the day. A lady came in with a bunch of clothing, she spent close to 90min in the fitting room alone, not taking into account how long it took her to pick out the clothing on the floor. When she eventually came out of the fitting room she had the nerve to ask me if I had seen her child. And to be clear, it turns out she came into the store ALONE. she simply walked out of another store previously in the mall and LEFT her child there! Luckily the assistants of that store called on mall management and they looked after the child while getting police involved. She was without her child for about 4hours before she noticed. Suffice to say, a few people handed her ass to her for her absolute disregard.

It is the right decision to ask her as the mother .As a mother i would ask myself what could i do better for my child or for for me to her.Sitting in the car let the kids by them selfes it shows me not a mother would do it.A mother should be sitting there and have a eye on them.I let my own child go alone to her friends or play ground if she was 6 years old ( go to friends she has m old handy ,i call the mom of her friends she is going now and she has to call back if she has arrived) The playground was behind the house.But the time as my child was little was the earlys 2000 .The children has friends playing outsides with not less than 4 .We parents playing with them ,making Picknicks outside for dinner ( all the neighbour kids parents and the elderly's ..Now the most parents are -- without words!!!

I ran across a very similar situation when my son was 3. A little girl was left at the playground she was no older than 7 and her dad left her there while he played basketball with friends close by. Apparently he somehow forgot she was at the park and went to the parking lot without her. As people left with their children this girl was left alone in the playground. Being she was so young and alone and that i was the only adult in sight, i asked the girl if she was ok by herself before i left with my son. Some kids play alone and i get that but i just thought id check in to make sure everything was ok before i left such a young child alone. The girl said "im ok my dad is over there.." and she realized everyone at the basketball court was gone and she started to panic. I told her id help her and she was safe despite her starting to cry. The police subdivision was next to the park so i took her there and the police eventually got a call from the dad, who returned ONE HOUR later about the girl being missing. The police said she was at the station after being left alone at the park and asking for help to find her dad.

@Negle Lir I think you have to think about how at 13 she got pregnant and when reading her statement, sounds like she is struggling to read so likely didn't finish school which helps people mature socially, morally, etc. With their peers. When girls have kids it stunts a lot of things and when you are 14 or even 19 you are still at an age where mistakes are inevitable. Victim blaming is not OK. It doesn't matter how she's made mistakes along the way, she bought her kids ice cream and brought them to a park, she deserves to have her child taken because she keeps getting pregnant?? Ridiculous! No one deserve their child taken from a park no matter how Crappy you think their parenting skills are. I'm a wonderful mom and you think my eyes are on my kids 100% at the park? No! Cuz parks are for kids and yeah maybe she should've checked more but she was 19 with probably the mentality of a 14-15 year old. Stop victim blaming
@candice_ecidnac
@candice_ecidnac Жыл бұрын
@@NegleLir wow, how can you think this way? A 13 year old is a CHILD. A CHILD. PERIOD. Children have 0 responsibility for birth control or educating themselves about avoiding pregnancies because - and this is important - NO ONE SHOULD BE HAVING SEX WITH CHILDREN!!! As a child she could not consent and whoever sired her first 2 children is a RAPIST. It doesn't matter one whit if the fathers of her children are the same; what matters is that this CHILD was repeatedly raped (since she couldn't consent) and was left to raise children when she was still a child herself. A child has no concept of child rearing nor is it their responsibility. It is the responsibility of the parents and schools to teach them about predators, about sex, and about choice, and it's incredibly important to have resources available for a child who is sexually assaulted, like rape counseling and medical care. She wasn't even old enough to comprehend the impact having children would have on her mind or body or her whole life. Victim blaming is not okay. What a shameful comment you've made.

I feel for that poor family. I don't believe the mother had anything to do with it, considering her sister and son were both there too. Young parents make mistakes (as do older ones!) and you cannot do everything perfectly. It terrifies me how in just a matter of seconds something can happen to your child.. Kids are fast, they can run off, they might not be old enough to comprehend stranger danger yet. It breaks my heart to admit that I don't think poor little Dulce will be found alive, but I pray that this family gets some closure and find out what happened to her. 💞

I worked for a dentist here in SC. This was 25 years ago. He had a very good colleague that lived about 150 miles away in upper SC. His colleague had a hygienist who was asked by a couple of her girlfriends to take a girls trip with all their kids to Disney World in Florida. The hygienist’s daughter was 4. They were in Magic Kingdom and they all stopped bc they saw some acquaintances so were all standing around talking. The hygienist’s daughter was there…mom got distracted briefly with talking and she turned around and her daughter was NO WHERE in sight. She immediately started screaming. If you don’t think there’s security people walking amongst everyone there, think again. Three plain clothed security guys scooped her up and took her underneath the park where everything is being monitored. The whole time taking her below they told her “DO NOT look for anything but her shoes” - reason being most abductors don’t have time to change their shoes. She had on the sneakers that lit up when she walked. They started scoping the crowds on camera monitors and decided to focus on the main exit of Magic Kingdom. Don’t you know her mom saw her. She saw her shoes!! They had put a hat on her head. They caught a ring of 15 people who had probably been watching her for a while and when her mom turned her back they made their stealth-like moves. Her mom had a nervous breakdown and took her several months to get back to work. If she had made it out of the park, that would more than likely have been it. She would’ve never seen her again, doubtfully. We took my daughter there when she was 2 but she was mostly in stroller but even so still have to be very cautious. I always briefed my husband the couple of times that we’ve been since she’s gotten a little older “just remember, if anything happens look for her shoes” LOL. I’ve heard it said that it’s not uncommon at all for child traffickers to acquaint places like Disney World where quite naturally there’s going to be small children. It’s terrible!

I wish the captioning for these videos were written by humans instead of auto generated. During the press conference, she's asked how she's doing and she says, "Worried. About my daughter" but the captions say "Worried about my bottom". Millions of people around the world have partial or full hearing loss or auditory processing issues and depend on captions and subtitles (they aren't the same) but very few content creators make their videos accessible to people with hearing issues by uploading a transcript. This case impacted me, after a couple of years I come back to it. Ever since this incident I have never gone and don’t plan on going to a park alone with out my husband or more relatives. My husband was the most paranoid. My baby girl just turned 5 this year. So this impacts me even more.

It is beyond disgusting the way people behave to parents of missing children. Not every single child is hurt by a parent, the attitude about this needs to shift. My heartbreaks for Dulce's family but even more so for Dulce herself. I really hope she is found one way or the other.

Statistics and proven facts do not lie. I know it's very confronting and abnormal, but many parents have physically harmed and murdered their children. It's horrendous, but it happens.
@Mr_Fairdale

It’s like a 12 times more likely that a child is killed by a parent or someone close than by a stranger. But of course, reckless speculation doesn’t do any good. This case doesn’t look like a cover up, like other high profile missing or murdered kid cases. It doesn’t appear that the mother had anything to do with the disappearance.

@@melinaesposito3434yes but you’re in no position to accuse grieving parents of this with no evidence it’s just tacky. It reeks of people who watch too much true crime and play at detective. I think people are more concerned with what has happened to the child than the feelings of the parent who might possibly be involved in the child being harmed. Doesn’t make it right, just a possible reason for why people do that. Also, I think because this mother was only 14 when she first started having babies and appears to be lacking in education, she doesn’t quite know how to respond to questions and didn’t seem to understand simple questions being asked of her. Because of that it gives off the appearance that she’s callous and uncaring. While I won’t condemn her for any of that, and I won’t directly point fingers. I also won’t write off the possibility that she could be involved. You just never know.

I saw a comment where LE is of suspicion she was sold. One commenter stated she lives in area and parts of it are impoverished and it’s not unusual for kids to go “missing” for trafficking., etc., whether abducted, sold. I’m not accusing her mom just stating a few comments I’ve seen. I, personally, believe she has been abducted and trafficked.

I feel so sorry for the Mom.. she literally loves her babies and anyone with a brain could see that. She’s a young mother and sometimes as young mothers we do things lazily. I may never have sat in the car while my kids played at the park but I know for damn certain my mother did! There was numerous times I should have been taken as a child, my parents just lived in a morman area and assumed everyone was good... my point is that she loved her daughter! She was pregnant and probably tired and still took her kids to the park, that was a commendable moment on her end. I’ll be keeping this family in my prayers 🙏🏻❤️

Are you shitting me? She was more bothered about scratching a scratch card in the car than looking after her kids at the park, she sounded like she was ordering a pizza on the 911 call so calm and relaxed and didn't even know what colour top her daughter was wearing. Fk the mother she's a waster and should have the other kids taken off her and be rotting in jail for neglect. You people have all your priorities upside down.

Bet when she's alone it's a different story. I'm the same, come across cold and some say aloof but when I'm on my own all the emotion comes flooding out. Think in my case I was conditioned that feelings are weak and that tears show your weakness. People are so judgemental, we all react differently and at different rates. I'm sure Dulces mother is totally broken but has to keep strong because of her other children.

I'm the same way. Throw in social anxiety like a microphone or a gathering crowd (like at the press conferences), and I'd probably be struck mute entirely. Seeing that she was going days afterward without changing clothes or washing her hair, it's so clear that she was going through emotional hell. It's horrendous that in the middle of every parent's worst nightmare, she also had to handle people blaming and accusing her, too. Breaks my heart. 😞

Yes everyone reacts differently to shock. I’ve lost sight of mine shopping once I was an uncontrollable mess screaming like a banshee like some had died-which was no use to anyone. So I don’t know no which is better. But I do know you can’t judge someone on their reaction everyone reacts to fear/grief differently.
