Without explanation, Keith Freeman announces the June 18 Thornton Township meeting is canceled

It was over an hour after the June 18 meeting was scheduled to start that Thornton Township senior adviser Keith Freeman announced that the meeting was canceled. He provided no reason for the cancelation.

Why is Tiffany still mayor? How long does this poor little town and its residents have to suffer from these clowns??? They have been demanding justice for so long now and the feds are taking their sweet ass time...i guess it's not really important to them

Exactly. I am pointing the finger at State Attorney for Cook county, and the State AG. The state AG’s actions are egregious - by issuing document requests and not following through when Tahoe ignored them, he effectively gave her cloud cover and a license to continue and potentially exacerbate the issue. I am very disappointed Also the Governor can speak up and start pressuring these gvt attorneys

It disappointing but they are all hiding something. Chi has always been politically corrupt!! Corruption Rules---residents got to take drastic measures to move things towards a swift change. I think govts are to corrupt now to get any immediate action.

Very disrespectful to attend wearing shorts and a baseball cap on backwards. A lack of respect for the position he holds and a mockery of public service. He shows no remorse or concern about the Tiffany no-show situation. Flippant and jovial. What is wrong with this guy? Tiffany Henyard not showing up is also a lack of respect for her position that she holds. Who do they think they are? Will this reign of terror end by indictments or being voted out?

Tahoe has ZERO respect for folks’ time. She makes everyone show up on a hot 90deg day, wait an hour AFTER the scheduled start time - and then inexplicably cancel. Yet, like clockwork, the next time Tahoe has a mic, she will angrily bloviate on showing her respect, and how its unfair to her blah blah blah

You cut off the video before the classic response from Dolton resident Dan Lee, seen standing up in the back row. His first Thornton Township meeting was the 5/28 budget hearing that Tiffany also canceled. He said "I feel like Charlie Brown and the football. She does this to us every time."

Tiffany has been told by her attorneys to keep her mouth shut. That is why the meeting and any further ones are canceled.

I dont blame her for following her attorney advice, but couldnt she have cancelled BEFORE the meeting start time? (and if she can no longer effectively communicate with her constituents, they dont have trust, etc… shouldn’t she step down?)

What did they do expect from vile criminals? Since law enforcement is corrupt it is inevitable that residents take matters into their own hands. Uncle Sam better step up the pace of justice before violence erupts. The criminals are sitting ducks and Murphy's Law applies. Justice must be served one way or the other to protect residents, businesses and future.
