Maharaj makes it clear in the class that "Without love, there cannot be surrender" and vice-versa does not apply. Still, why is the title of the video "Without surrender there is no love"? Is it a typo?

Good point! Looks like a typo, although we do have to surrender to go through the process of purification and finally deserve to get Krsna-prema. Otherwise how we will get? It's a gift and we have to deserve it.

@@NectareanKatha I do understand that prabhu. And of course, Maharaj understands that too. Only that he is talking at a different level in this class. And in my humble opinion, the title should reflect his mood in this particular lecture. In any case, thanks a lot for posting these beautiful classes. Extremely grateful.

The last point at which selfsurrender fails is False Ego, bodily conception or 'I have surrendered' - this Ego, and Artificial, conditional or partial reasons. So by the mercy of Sadhu GuruVaishnavas only we can be eleigible to be a Das or Have Love for Krishna.
