He was in the scope of an SS agent from another roof. Obviously all didn't play out in a perfect world. I believe the SS knew he was there, they were watching him . I don't think they are allowed to engage without being told too. May be wrong,I honestly do not know, maybe they assumed he was not going to Starr shooting as soon as he did? Who knows. What is known is that the dude was taken out in seconds. Maybe that should be mentioned .

There is video showing that the SS sniper teams were pointed in his direction before the gunman even started shooting, and they returned fire in under a second after the shooting began. There's also reports that the Police were aware and were in the process of confronting him on the roof. It's possible the sniper team was told to hold as the police department engaged him to talk him down, but then the gunman must've just went for it, and the team then returned fire. There's still a lot we don't know.

I wonder if it happened only because people are used to seeing others carrying a gun too and so when one more gun carrying person comes along often calling persons who don't carry one crazy then it didn't sound as startling when hearing that reported as maybe being only a rumor.

It takes 5 seconds to scope and pull a trigger. The police sniper had a win mag with an Israeli one shot one kill scope. It calibrates the target and predicts the area to aim by calculating windage. This scope is a sniper for dummies book. Takes the skill out of the shot. This whole event looks terribly fishy! Crooks was spotted climbing on the building 26 minutes prior to his shots... I'm getting a creepy grassy knoll vibe here.

@@keepitreal8887 Whether you're reading the JFK assassination witness reports or any other major shooting, the witnesses are NEVER in agreement as to how many shots were fired or where they came from (also remember, the Secret Service Sniper Team also returned fire within a second, meaning the audible shots from both sides would've overlapped).
