Pahalgam has always been on my wishlist and this time when I went to kashmir I thought it should be the first place for me to visit however the problem was there was no direct bus or cab from Srinagar to Pahalgam. Then I had no choice other than taking a shared cab from Srinagar's Lal chowk to Anantnag and then I easily got another shared taxi from Anantnag to Pahalgam. I will be lying if I say I did not enjoy every bit of this little adventure. Now the question is did Pahalgam quench my thirst of seeking the most beautiful place on the face of the Earth?
Here is the list of my expenses during my stay in Srinagar-
because I visited Srinagar during the off season so the House Boat rent was only 1000 Rs per night
secondly the food isn't cheap in Srinagar or the matter of fact in Kashmir so I almost spent 300 Rupees for every meal. Traveling from Srinagar to Pahalgam was a relatively cheap, shared cab from Lal chowk to Anantnag It was only 120 rupees per person and 100 rupees from Anantnag to Pahalgam.
