We react to "Technicolour" - Montainge's Eurovision 2021 song for Australia. We listened to the studio cut, but afterwards we discuss the live Mardi Gras performance.

Her only live version of this song, she wasn't 100%. I saw her live last month with other songs and she was running around and "fainting" and still singing amazingly.

This is so good, its very hyperpop, probably the most modern song of the year. She is just great too, the live version on the stadium was impressive.

I've been waiting for this review since this bop dropped. You guys are amazing and the editing is pure GOLD just like this song. This song never fails to put a smile on my face and I love how unique is. No other entry sounds like this and I'm sure Montaigne will kill it on Rotterdam. What a breath of fresh air!

Montaigne sure holds power and strength. Well Done Montaigne. I have a K-Pop obsession and liking the anime. Montaigne's Family line is a citizen of Europe (English & Spanish), Asia, South America and Australia. "Montaigne is a depiction of Multiculturalism". Thank you for loving Montaigne the way we do in Australia :)

OMG seeing Deban like a song so much was quite worth the watch alone. But agree with your comments though but you need to watch the official live video not the tv performance as sound quality and camera recordings are massively different and better. The whole staging of the live performance was 200% better than Australia Decides 2020 and I think this will do surprisingly better than what most people think. Go Montaigne 👍🇦🇺❤️

I love the song! She performed it live at the Sydney Mardi Gras and sounded really good. I can imagine her going well for the Eurovision grand final.

I love the song idc what anyone else says. Took a few listens to get used to it, then it just became an earworm. Can't stop listening to it. People who say it's messy are also the same ones who like Serbia 😭 (Edit : just to add i do prefer the verses much more than the chorus tho. Wished the chorus follows the style(?) Of the verses but still nontheless it's still great - also she's a good singer but it would def do her good if she improves her live vocals)

Song is great! Her performances often fall short cos we can't understand the lyrics or she doesn't hit the notes. She needs to get her confidence levels up and through the sky!

It’s great! But 1st semi final will not be easy! I think all the great songs are in 1st semi final! God, will be very hard to see some great songs end in the 1 semi final... 2nd semi final have more “songs of semi final” that will take some good places in the final 🥲

You can tell the public are chosing our artists now because we aren't generic! I loved this on J and then was disappointed with the sound from Mardi Gras but I think she will work this up - what they were going to do with last year's song was fabulous and SBS are like Montaigne - experimental and no-nonsense so staging will rock. Can't wait to see it at Eurovision and after hearing the studio cut again I am a lot more conficent of a final spot - actually after declaring i was disappointed last week at Mardi Gras I now love it to pieces.
