I'm really sad about Switzerland. I was a big fan of the song anyway but Coco performed amazingly tonight as an entire package it just worked! I was also really happy that the crowd got involved when she asked people to put their hands up if they had ever been hurt, it was a great moment. ROBBED!

Thank you all for Albania. I'm so happy, I didn't believed that we're going through the final. I was speechless. For Albania a country that has not many fans and relationships with other countries, that's why we always in 16th and 17th place when we qualify. That was Justice.

This was the best semi-final in Eurovision history. I really think that everyone brought their best and they have my respect. I am really in shock that Switzerland, Croatia, F.Y.R. Macedonia and Belarus didn't make the final, but at the same time I am extremely happy for Albania and especially Lithuania, she made tear up a little. And I didn't expect Ireland to go through, but in the end it is deserved. Good luck in the Grand Final!

I think I'm the only person who is completely happy with that result, so proud of Finland and of Saara for making it and surprised but so happy about Ireland qualifying!! Cyprus, Israel and Lithuania were others I was pleased to see qualify, and I think this is such a strong top ten.

Really sad or Belgium. I think in terms of song it is definitely one of the best written ones. It was definitely in my top2 together with Bulgaria. Speaking of Bulgaria - I am not sure what the guy with the glasses was on - they stood out in my view. While most of the other "favourites" were going for explosives, bursting red hot fireworks and lightening Bulgaria explored completely other niche of mysticism, artful darkness and some alien/otherworldly vibes. And that is why it was quite memorable and actually qualified. Not everything needs to be all bright and colourful. I personally really appreciated the dark, even slightly gothy feel of the whole performance.

After hearing Ireland, I was sure they are in. I had a hard time to make a top 10, I had a top 9 till the recaps. Albania was there for me too. But Lithuania surprised me and was expecting Switzerland instead. 9/10 - you overestimate sg. of East-Europe - it does not exist :) sorry guys

I am SO happy Last night was the first time I was at a Eurovision semi final and what a night it was I've been banging on all season as how Albania, Lithuania and Ireland were quality songs and they all qualified.......hurrah!! If fans are anything to go by, the reception in the arena gives Israel, Estonia and Cyprus a massive chance...never seen a "pop" crowd burst into applause midway through a song for elina and the crowd singing Israel and Cyprus songs before they even came on...fantastic Semi final 2 has a lot to live up to

after all performances rehearsal my top10 qualifiers was : bulgaria , swiss, belgium, lithuania , israel, ireland,estonia,austria, cyprus,and czech republic. It's sad for swiss and belgium that they did not qualified :(

I picked 9 out of the 10 qualifiers. The surprising entry for me was albania. I honestly thought Greece would get through. But It was great to see Ireland go to the final. Belgiums song was good but she always lacked something in the live version. Cyprus was amazing though. She was slaying those dance moves.

Bulgaria and Eastern vote?! You need to learn more about the Balkans. We are more likely to get points from Iceland than from Serbia for example, leave alone Belarus or Ukraine.

I'm just so happy~!!! I've never been so...speechless over a Semi Final cause usually my faves get left behind but this time around, my faves advanced while my least faves were left behind. I'm still in a bit of shock tbh. However, I'm so sad that Switzerland and Belarus were left behind, they were my only two faves who got left behind but maybe next year they'll have better luck~
