1. What should you not do if you have to score a 700+ in the GMAT?
Here is my take on what most of us end up doing when thinking of a GMAT. I made this mistake and I see a lot of us in the same boat. Better to learn from my mistakes than commit it yourself.
2. Do test prep classes or courses really help?
It depends. I have been on both sides of the argument. I started preparing on my own and then something changed and I decided to join a GMAT prep class. Listen to what made me change my belief that a GMAT test prep class will do me good.
3. What did I do different in my ISB application essays?
I did not have much time to work on my essays. I did not take any assistance to edit my application essays. I took my second GMAT on Dec 28, 2019 and R3 deadline was on Jan 1, 2020. So, I had only one thing going for me - and I used that effectively in my essays.
4. What was my take on the ISB interview?
You can only prepare so much for an interview. The standard questions - you can have a canned answer. What about the ones that come up that are out of the ordinary. So, I decided to do some basic prep and was prepared to be mentally tuned into the interview process as it was happening instead of double guessing what it is likely to be.
