Ngl, if u just walk away from a wizard when he does this combo. You'll be chillin, he loses shield he misses mm and if u get a good couple ranged shots in with throwing weapons or bows then you pretty much are guarenteed to kill him if he doesn't run.

Asa fighter main this hurts my soul. Basically more effective health than a knight in full plate, WAAAAY more DPS than anything I could put out in 6 hits, and they get the mobility of no armor.

Yeah, but you can build magic resistance too. However, the pure amount of DPS will usually chunk you pretty hard before you kill them. Its possible but you'll probably die in a fight against 2 players.

Crossbow, sprint.. second wind and a fucking shield to block it. Every fighter on EU just spams xbow > sprint and can catch up to me as a fucking naked wizard with invis on. Shit is broken. Most braindead classes such as ranger and fighter are just being played.

They should make it do 100% dmg against mobs so you can clear mobs with it but only do like 60-80% to players..

Why? Barbarian and fighter and ranger can all instant kill rogue and wizard.....with one hit or arrow from longbow...they nerf and nerf and nerf wizard and it has the highest skill cap. This guy is just a LOT better than most. After all he is a gaming expert.. So tired of nerfing wizard. Happens every single patch. And they did just nerf MMs again, to 75% damage it was in this clip...no longer good at clearing mobs or players. It's stupid.

The problem imo is when /if any class is competitive without gear. Also there's very few ways to mitigate magic damage. Combined with wizard having high speed makes it a mess. Maybe they should try missiles at 80% instead of 100? I think 50 is too big of a reduction. I'm all for playing with the numbers to see what works best. Wizard was my first class and just I suck at it but it is annoying to have a class get tweaked then reverted then tweaked then reverted. I can imagine the frustration for wizzy mains.

All they need to do it make missiles go from 1-100% power as they travel. Keeps it's big power, but useless as a shotgun. It also makes it's use conditional on distance, so it's not always the obvious go-to

@@Fikule The spell is abysmal at range, so nerfing it to 1% at point blank is basically deleting the spell from the game. This would be worse than reverting it to 50%.

@@shamanthebstard688 that depends entirely on what distance is needed to reach 100%. It could just be 1 meter. The only goal is to counter shotgunning. And, if shotgun is the only power the spell has, then it's already not a good spell

@@Fikule i also think lightning strike needs to be looked at, i feel like a lot of wizard spells that should be good at area denial are also just good at aggressive play. i wish it was either slower to pop after being cast, or did less damage. but more than anything, magic missile getting reduced power at close range would be great.

I have played nothing but cuthroat rogue this wipe and tbh I have no issue with wizards. Maybe I'm just lucky the skills I run happened to get buffed and happen to counter what everyone hates most atm. I still die to 1-2 shots from a crossbow though so I'm still mad at fighter(same as every patch) . Hot take but honestly let wizards have their fun, it will be short lived and they suffered plenty before this. It'll be nerfed I'm pretty sure..... right? yeah of course... probably.

I have been playing barb recently as not being insta killed by rogues that come outta nowhere is nice. yet even with barbuta helm full tunic and iron will ( around 45% magi damage reduction) I still cant push a wizard who is actively ready the switch to and use magi missiles.

@@jtrigoura1 they usually kill u before u get that close and almost always can take 1 hit from 2 handers and 2 from Viking sword. Reason they kill u before is it’s impossible to catch a decent wiz when ur trying to use a two handed weapon due to the move speed penalty
