Really refreshing how Sean understands magic from the point of view of the spectator - Craig and Dave should take note

I have "Pocket" and I perform it with amazing reactions! I do not agree with their comments. The set up took 20mins and I don't think you are limited in pocket space (depending on how you hook it up). It's not like a snap change! It's a highly visual card change from an isolated space with no real cover. Also who even said it has to be a card change! You can change anything you like....try this in the real world and then give a review!

I like Sean`s view on effects. He`s right with Vortex. Don`t think our audience is stupid. They like to be entertained, but don`t think they get badly fooled by obvious props.

Nice to see Craig back. Sean is hilarious. Lets make these boxes from cardboard because no one at home could do the same thing if they already know how Gozzinta box works? Apparently cardboard is hard to get?

ALSO, about the vortex of refreshment, I don't agree with people trying to figure it out. PEOPLE ALWAYS TRY TO FIGURE IT OUT! Even if you do a shape shifter people will think YOU DID SOMETHING. That's just the thing with what we do as magicians, amateur or professional, people will always try to figure it out and not think it's REAL magic. We have to think like laymen who enjoy being magic, not the sceptic who is judging the magician. Magicians like to Run when they are not being chased. When a magician does something that we can't figure out, even if the method is easy, we think it's the best thing in the world because it fooled us, the magicians. I'm done venting. Thanks for reading. I still and always will love this show. :)

I have to agree with Sean with the Lubor's Gift. It's RIDICULOUSLY overpriced for what it is. Sure, it's more 'believable' for laymen and it's more 'organic', but it's no where close to being worth what it is actually being sold for. I was looking towards Pockey by SansMind, pity it's so impractical. I guess it was too visual/good to be true/practical. As for Vortex of Refreshment by David Regal, that was performed at his Penguin Lecture I do believe. Great opening effect.

This is a completely different effect than the colour changes mentioned, all of which require you having your grubby paws on the card. This is different, looks different, plays differently. Audience management is a skill you need generally as a magician with all sorts of effects: you may need that skill when you perform this.

I suppose you could do Pocket with a signed card, just make a double backer appear and do a double lift after controlling the card to the top of the deck (just an idea)

How about making card boxes that go into each other, over and over. That, I would buy. Then, as an added bonus I would take a ruler and show the box is deeper on the inside than on the outside.

Craig.... you have met your match in this weeks show with Sean, he is spot on, its a GOZZINTA BOX simple as that, and NOT worth 80 bloody quid, I know Paul Harris might think hes a Big Shot, but does he take us for IDIOTS..... and craig you redeemed yourself may 7min 15 seconds into the show, who the Fuck is going to buy this i will never know, Hope the WMS did not pre order loads of them.
