Brilliant carving. What wood and whatsize block did you start with? I'm guessing around 50mm x 180mm roughly?

Awesome work man! What is this that you use to finish de piece, those 2 products at the end?? Keep rockin!

Hello! 👋🏻🙂 As a finish I use Danish oil which serves to close the pores of the wood well, and an antiquing wax effect of the fleur to finish everything off. thanks for the comment.

L'Alchimista, I am so glad I found your KZfaq channel, your work is absolutely AWESOME! I love your style, detail and finishing, you are also a very good artist. I am new to carving started in May of this year and want to perfect the craft around the types of carvings you have created, let's call them "Spirit carvings". I have watched to Wizard carving at least 3 times and would like to try creating a copy. A couple of questions about the Wizard, size of the bass wood (wished all videos provided the wood size) and do you have a template for this carving I could retrieve I would like to learn your style? Keep up the great work can't wait to watch your next video.

Ciao Enzo, ti ringrazio tanto 🙏🏻😊💜 Non sono un professionista per cui non vado molto bene per dare consigli. Però in base al mio percorso posso consigliarti il set di coltelli da intaglio della kupet, trovi il link in descrizione ai miei video. Poi le protezioni alle mani sempre, anche se in alcuni miei video non le indosso, sbagliando. Disegnare sempre prima di scolpire e fare esercizio 😉 Se ti appassiona vedrai buoni risultati in poco tempo!

Ciao, ti ringrazio! 😊 Il legno lo puoi trovare ovunque, anche a terra, ma se sei un novizio ti consiglio di provare con legni teneri come il tiglio(specialmente quello americano), e il cirmolo o pino cembro. Ah i disegni, avevo letto sbagliato...😅 I pattern per l'intaglio li puoi trovare gratuitamente in Pinterest per esempio, i miei sono disegnati da me e sono disponibili per i miei Patreon.
